Our family of 4 stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in June. We stayed in a deluxe room with a view of the castle. We picked this hotel because it was one of the few that would guarantee and air conditioning in your room. The room & bathroom were very nice. the bathroom was huge by French standards. It... More

Amazing location, right across from Chateau de Fontainebleau. Easily accessible from Avon train station by cab or bus. Quick walk to Rue Grande restaurants, the Chateau, INSEAD campus and anything else of interest in Fontainebleau. Very comfortable bed. Clean. Good black out curtains. Very spacious room by French standards. Friendly staff. I didn't try the breakfast. The only thing not... More

I recently stayed at the hotel del Londres and the staff were extremely helpful with every request. The breakfast is always very nice is always fresh. The room is also very comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and if I ever come back I would definitely stay here and will recommend to my colleagues.

Warm hospitality, classic, very neat and nicely decorated rooms. Just a very short walk away from the palaces & muséums. Price was acceptable (don't miss the breakfast!!). You can also walk you way into Fontainebleau easly.

We happened upon this hotel as we had not planned to spend the night in Fontainbleau. I lived in France for many years, so I am not easily impressed by a play on cutesy French. That was not the case here, thought is traditional French. The owner, who is, I believe third generation owner, mans the front desk. He's sincere,... More

This hotel is an official Hotel de Charme, and it lives up to its credentials. Situated opposite the chateau it is not dominated by it, but offers genuine hospitality with the chateau as a backdrop. Each room is different, with modern decor and antique pieces, comfortable beds and beautiful bed linen. Breakfast is taken in a cosy room overlooking the chateau... More

Thank you for your kind review and just comments, always helpfull and encouraging to do better, we are we are in a process to change the bath linen, to buy instead of rent, as we have already done for the bed linen. And we think seriously about the lift, we will do it as soon as we can, this will... More

We spent only one night in an unplanned stay in this hotel but would love to go back to it again. We had a lovely comfortable room off a quaint courtyard. The room was very tastefully decorated. Air conditioning was very efficient - thankfully, as we were finding the heatwave uncomfortable. This is a family owned hotel and the owner... More

This is a splendid old building perfectly sited with views over the chateau. The staff are warm and welcoming and seem genuinely interested in the punters' comfort. The 'public rooms' are a delight, with the lounge being sympathetically decorated and comfortable. The breakfast room also is a cut above the norm. I had a standard ("classic") room with a good... We stayed only one night at the Hotel de Londres on our trip from Paris to the Lot. It was the perfect start to our two week stay in France. We arrived early for check-in but were shown immediately to our room, a charming "romantic" (as described on the website) space off the courtyard. It did not have a view... More

We booked 2 rooms for 4 nights direct with the hotel. What a fabulous hotel a little gem. So hard to find these days of the corporate style multiple chain hotels- an actual individual hotel. The hotel couldn't be better positioned for views and access to the magnificent Chateau also an easy short walk to shops, bars etc. Beautifully decorated... More
