I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Reception was friendly. Owner of the hotel was accommodating, rooms were large and air-conditioned. They were open to both business travelers and families with children. The breakfast buffet was a great deal (and really tasty!).

Stayed here for one night on business. The hotel is a very nice and pleasant environment. The rooms are charming, the breakfast room and service is nice and complete. The lobby bar is a great place to relax and hold quiet conversations while taking advantage of an honor bar. The owners are present and welcoming. They go out of their... More

Really enjoyed our stay here as the hotel staff were helpful and friendly, the room was quiet so we slept well, the bathroom's shower was a nice powerful one and the location plus nearby subsidised parking made our short trip to France a real pleasure... Would def. recommend and would return...

My wife and I stayed at this 350+ years old hotel and loved it. Although it hasn't been an hotel for all of those years (it was a hunting lodge previously), the part of the building that we called home for two nights, has been in existence for all that time. Evidence of it was right there in our room... More

We enjoyed this hotel for two nights visiting the very close, Chateau Fontainbleau. Also very close to the town. We were 2 adults and our 11 year old daughter. We rented their suite and it was perfect, large rooms and large modern bathroom. Nearby restaurants were many and the town was nice to walk around.

My husband and I were in Fontainbleau as part of a some days that we spent in Paris and the environs having made the trip by train from Geneva for la fête nationale (Bastille Day). We could not have asked more from this hotel. It is one of the few times in my many years of travelling for work and... More

Walking in you feel like you have entered a 4 or 5 star considering the presentation of the lobby and also the lift which strangely has a TV in it. We were greeted politely and our room key promptly sorted. We were also informed about the discount for the car park they have. Entering the room you feel like you... More

A marvellous hotel! We were there 2 nights and I really could have stayed longer. We had a suite and it was so spacious and well- furnished. We arrived late on our first evening and were able to order room service(dinner) from the Italian eatery next door brought to us and the cost added to our room bill. We all... More

Considering the amount of visitors to château de Fontainebleau, it is wise to stay in a hotel to enjoy, before the many touristic buses, the beautiful gardens and the amazing architecture. Perfectly set in downtown Fontainebleau, a stone's throw away from the legendary castle, l'Aigle Noir is a very nice imperial hotel with quaint rooms. Quiet and with perfect staff,... More
