Very poky room number 3 No room to move as bed occupied 90% or room. Shower tray blocked. Bed unmade and looked it had been used by someone else as was dirty I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless everywhere was full up.

If you want to feel welcome and comfortable, do not stay here. In my decades of foreign travel, I have never been treated so poorly. The owner shouted at me twice for not doing things the right way such as sitting at a two person table instead of a single and not knowing my room number when I hadn't even... More

We stayed one night only and our experience seemed much better than previous reviews. Processed at reception very efficently, and with humour, by an adult. Room was on first floor so no elevator not a real problem. Room was clean, as was the bathroom. Everything worked fine. Our room was facing the street so was expecting noise but the room... More

Disgusting doesn't explain how bad this hotel is. I wouldn't put my dog in it. I'm sure there are kennel owners who would reject this place for their business. Everything about this hotel has been done on a shoestring. Like other reviews... welcomed by a 12 year old asian boy who was more interested in web surfing than being helpful.... More

I don´t think one really should expect more when choosing such a cheap hotel. The rooms were reasonably clean. There are a few things that could be improved. On the other hand; the heating was adequate, even in sub-zero conditions. True, there is some "ambient noise" from the bar further down the street, so if you need total silence in... More

I have categorised this hotel as poor overall. That may be slightly harsh, although I don't think it is good enough to be 'average'. We were staying for one night only in Fontainebleau and we chose this hotel because it was cheap, so at the end of the day we must recognise that you get what you pay for. We... More

Welcome by teenage boy, not helpful at all, only speak French, no English. Below average hotel, terrible experience. Small room, don't believe what you see from outside. Not recommend at all. No free parking and the boy in front desk didn't know anything, played his game all the time annoying anyone.

Trust me - you don't want to stay here. Don't do it. Travelers taking their business elsewhere might be exactly what this place needs to get its act together. Just a few specifics to let you know how gross this place is. The rooms are supposedly non-smoking but when we returned one night we got a strong whiff of smoke,... More

Very very basic .... not at all comfortable and a bit grubby... service was ok not great but not bad. The location is great but overall is a poor hotel with very rudimentary establishment. In terms of value for money it's ok but beware because their is no parking at the hotel and parking generally in the town is difficult

We spent two nights in Hotel Belle Fontainebleau. While the location is great, right in the heart of the city, you pay too much for what you get. The rooms are only semi-clean and beds uncomfortable. While breakfast is ok, the entire restaurant and reception area is quite unclean, which makes is somehow disgusting to eat there. When we arrived,... More
