I too find it hard to get replies to mails or phone calls answered , I put it down to a slightly head in the clouds attitude of the hosts ............;I think that the enterprise is run in a family way and that true they could improve this side of their business. Though I have to say that the perseverance... More

The Gentle Gourmet Paris is run by a lovely middle-age couple. Deborah was always prompt in her emails over the stretch of 2 weeks that I corresponded with her. It was the first time my wife and myself were in Paris, and we couldn't have been better taken care of by Paul and Deborah. Practically, the price of the B&B... More

I am very disappointed, because I wanted to try the Gentle Gourmet on an upcoming trip to Paris. Weeks in advance I emailed the B&B asking for reservations for brunch and dinner. After no reply, I waited awhile, thinking I had tried to plan too far in advance. I emailed again and was met with the same (lack of) response.... More

First of all, this was my favorite evening in Paris out of the entire week we stayed there in March. The hosts were very personable. The other dinner guests were phenomenal, which is the reason for my warm impression of the night. The cooking class is much more suited to novices. There was a bit of a mishap in the... More

My husband and I just got back from a one week stay in May 2011 with The Gentle Gourmet. Coming to Paris for the first time from the West Coast of Canada, we were jet-lagged and slightly disorientated; however, the second we pulled up to The Gentle Gourmet, Paul our host, greeted us and led us to the apartment (great... We went to Paris for our anniversary and were surprised to find The Gentle Gourmet B&B. Being vegan/vegetarian we decided to book it and we really did enjoy the stay. The only thing I can say is that Deborah, the owner, spoilt us rotten. Breakfast was always a surprise and we had dinner once and the food and company was... More

Being a vegan, traveling abroad always poses a problem for me in terms of food. I know that if I want to keep to my vegan regimen I must either bring my own for or just order a green salad and french fries wherever I go. So, when I found this VEGAN B&B in Paris, I was elated! Right from... More
