I had made a reservation with another hotel in Besancon for a family room (4 people) and had seen the pictures. I had written confirmation of this. About a week prior to our arrival, I got a call from the "manager" of both the original hotel and the Florel. I was asked how old my children were (8 and 11)....

Our triple room was perfect with a seperate room with a single bed sharing the main bathroom The bathroom had everything you needed but definately no room for cat swinging There is secure off street parking which is handy as it is next to the station. All the staff we met were exceptionally helpful recommending places to see and eat
