Really disappointed with this hotel, which we came to for one night, after 6 nights in a stunning hotel elsewhere on the island. The corridors in the hotel are depressing, hospital like brown corridors, and the rooms are all on the right hand side. The view from the small balcony was lovely, but that is the only redeeming feature. The... More

We stayed 2 days in this hotel (June 5-6 2014). It was our second stop on a round the island trip by (rented) car. We choose Hotel l'Alivi, among else because of the location close to Bastia city centre, closer than we thought or had guessed from the map, also a good departure for our journey along the Route du... This place is so simple and straight forward, with the most incredible view from my terrace. After about 6 weeks of travelling around cities, to turn up here was so refreshing. The rooms are big, clean, and pretty well kitted out, with a nice bathroom.. It's all about the view from your bed, totally inspiring! This hotel definitely has it's... More

stayed her for 2 nights after arriving into Bastia airport. Amazing view from room and breakfast room. Nice pool. It is a shame that the restaurant is closed from Sunday afternoon till Monday evening, but never the less, we can recommended this hotel just north of Bastia!

Pros - The room had a great view out over the sea - watching the sun rise (if early enough) was great. Breakfast was plentiful but a balance of good and average - for example the omelettes were great, the fruit salad very average. We arrived and left by ferry so appreciated the late and early availability of reception. Cons... More

Very central, though a little out of town adjacent to the seashore and yet near the ferry terminal. Excellent and clean rooms with modern bathrooms, and balcony are exclusively facing and overlooking the sea. Staff are professional and polite and roomrates are very reasonable. The restaurant within the same premises with its garden seating is worth to attend, here as... More

The sound of the tides crashing in against the rocks, the starry night, the lights of the coriscan ferries moving along the sea in the darkness...i just sat back in the balcony of my room for a few hours absorbing the beauty and calmness of all these. This is a very good hotel to be in ; it is probably... More

I'm writing this review sitting in the balcony, having a glass of wine, listening to the tide come in, as the setting sun, (behind us now) makes the island of Albia glow red. We've been in Cosica about 24 hours, and so far everything is perfect. We are staying at this hotel, because we are starting a bike tour from... More

This is not a 5-star hotel but it is very good for what it is. Great location, it is a comfortable place to come home to after negotiating some of Corsica's hair-raising roads. Rooms have sea views, air-con, balconies and bath-tubs: not common these days. The adjoining restaurant is worth a visit although it is pricey. Some staff also speak... More

Only few minutes outside Bastia, directly on a (small and rocky, with turquoise water) beach. All rooms have seaview and a small balcony. It has a pool (and a restaurant) on a nice and large terrace overlooking the sea. Rooms are not super new but well kept and not too small. Bathroom was also good. Free wi-fi in the room... More
