Good location but not a great stay. The town is small, most other hotels are in walking/taxi distance, if you are willing to spend the same amount you might get a nicer hotel elsewhere. Not all hotels have hairdryers in the rooms but this is the first hotel I've stayed in where I had to go down to reception and... More

Great location for ferries and city centre. Very obliging staff, room clean comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering it's central location. No problem storing luggage. If you hire a car from AVIS at the airport it is easy to drop it off in town as the AVIS office is on the ground floor of the hotel.

Again this is one of the nice location of hotel in town of Bastia. The hotel itself is bit old and have very odd view (like rural flat etc) nevertheless is pleasant place for one night only. The best part is that you can walk to the square and get your dinner over there

What a great find. Really well located just across the road from the main square in Bastia. Ideal if you were catching a ferry as that is only across the road too. We stayed in a family room for 5. It was spotless. Huge modern bathroom with bath and separate shower. Looked like it had only just been refitted. The... More

We spent two nights here. Location was perfect for the old town and only a few minutes walk to ferries and rental car offices. The room was a good size, clean and plenty of storage. The rooms are a little shabby but perfectly adequate. Staff are friendly and helpful. However we did have a dreadful shower - it was over... More

Stayed one night after ferry from Livorno . Very handy for the ferry and as a temporary stopover , room clean and flat pack modern after rather shabby street entrance. However a rather small bed complimented by an extremely small shower cubicle with hot pipes , less of a pleasant shower than an exercise in avoiding scalding . Breakfast meagre... More

I think we could have stayed longer but we wanted to go to other places. This is the type of hotel you stay for a stopover as it is in the city with no views and noisy in the morning with traffic, but at 59euro a night off season it was ok. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean... More

This hotel was extremely accommodating during a time of need. Our ferry was late arriving to Bastia, and we missed the last train and bus to get to our hotel in Calvi. Stranded without a room or transportation, an employee at a café in the square near the ferry port suggested we try this hotel. we are so glad we... More

We arrived via train from Ajaccio to a howling gale and fought our way through town and found Hotel Riveria easily. The reception is on the first floor but there is a lift for one and bags. Our room was very spacious and fresh and clean. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but just around the corner you can... More

This is a hotel to which I will return with pleasure. Don’t be put off by the shabby ground floor where you take the equally shabby lift to the hotel which starts on the first floor. We stayed in the huge triple room 102. Although the room was spartan, the slightly tired furniture (table and chair) was adequate for two... More
