I chose this hotel last year and remembered that is was a pleasant experience and so decided to return this year. I am glad I did. Firstly the staff are wonderful. I arrived very early and did not expect to check in until the afternoon - I really just expected to leave my suitcase - but - the lovely receptionist,... More

The hotel is close to thebeach next to some night clubs. On the night I stayed there, the night clubs kept up a rock concert to 2AM. It was like being inside the speakers of a big amplified band. This hotel fails to assure the minimum in service of any hotel, a nights sleep.

Very good for a 3 star. The staff were very helpful as most people in Bastia don't speak any English. They advised of activities & good restaurants! The location was great as we did not have a car all the time. (I would recommend that you rent a car). The breakfast was basic but delicious. The room was small but... More

Amenities that exist are substandard or non-existent. Bathroom badly designed- toilet too close to sink & shower useless. No toiletries, no hairdryer, & towels poor quality. Wifi hopeless- poor connectivity & very slow. No lift in our section of hotel. Wardrobe poor quality. The only redeeming features are location, rooms with sea view & cleanliness. How this hotel achieves any... More

Our recent cycling holiday began and ended here - 1000 km in 6 days. Space to set up our bikes and they minded our cases in between, this hotel served its purpose well. Bastia is so charming, the old fort and surrounds make for great ambling before the ride. After the ride, we staggered to restaurants a mere stone's throw... More

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is situated on the boulevard and exactly in between the Place St. Nicholas and the old harbour. The former has many cafés that serve decent meals. The latter has many restaurants. My room was situated on the top floor. It was austere and had a slanting roof that was much... More

This hotel is in a great location overlooking the harbour. The rooms are nice and very clean.Living on the third floor a small lift was great for the luggage. This hotel is much nicer inside than it looks from the outside.Friendly staff. Nice bathroom with tub.

First impressions from the street do not look favourable - the outside is rather tatty. However inside is much nicer. My room was in the annexe across the road. No lift - but it was just on the first floor so ok. I had not requested a sea view - but got one - side ways on. The room itself... More

We were impressed with the location and the lobby. My wife then took the small elevator to our room which was rather small. Since there was no room I walked up the stairs. The bedspread did not look clean was not centered and hanging on the floor. The soap dispenser in the shower/tub did not have any soap. The WiFi... More

Very handy for the ferry and the nice restaurants and bars at the harbour. Although it looks old it's clean has parking for the motorbikes and has air con, wifi and is reasonably quiet. Breakfast was typically french and cost 9 euros.
