After a long day on the bike, arriving at Ajaccio, and the Palazzo U Domu, was wonderful (after a couple of slightly disappointing experiences elsewhere in Corsica). Pleasant staff, best location in town (at least if you want to be in town), well appointed rooms and bathrooms, and ours had a wonderful view of the bay. So, no complaints. Also,... More

We found the staff friendly but not forthcoming with information, unless you know what questions to ask. However, they emailed us when my wife left her earrings behind and sent them on to our home address. The hotel is well located, being in the centre, the wifi worked well enough although there was a dead spot in the room. we... More

We arrived to find one (very nice) person at the desk. Bags couldn't be delivered to the room until I asked 3 times because she was alone. The elevator smells horribly. The hallways also smell terribly; as though there had been a flood AND a plumbing problem. The room was clean, nice, and grim. No amenities in the bathroom apart... More

I have read nearly 150 reviews of this hotel. They fall into 4 main categories. 1) Those praising the perfect location of this hotel TRUE. 2) Those claiming about room cost and that it is not worthy of 4 star rating. FALSE. Do any of the reviewers have the slightest idea of the criteria for 4 star hotels in Corsica.... More

First, there were a couple of things we really liked about the Palazzu U Domu. The location was great, right in the middle of things, and just a quick walk to the local beach. And our room was very nice; we paid a little extra for a bigger room and that was definitely worth it. The room was on a... More

I have only positive things to say about this hotel— it exceeded my expectations, and delivered a pleasant, comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location in the old city, very close to the port and waterfront, restaurants, and attractions is excellent, especially since the city is highly walkable. The hotel is in an old structure, but as the reviewers said it... More

Arrived hotel 11.00am advised, room not available till 3.00pm, we felt we were dismissed as no greetings, no suggestions on how to abide our time. Prior to arrival two emails were send ensuring we had a quiet room!! The room was very nice, however the noise at night was awful. Plus we were locked out of our room as the... More

This is really a very good hotel, and does just about everything right. Let's start with specifics. Location is perfect, right in the heart of Ajaccio and five minutes’ walk from all the sights, shops and other attractions and amenities. In spite of this it is a quiet area and we had no problems sleeping, even on the first night... More

I was here with a motorcycle group in early October and this hotel went out of its way to find us parking for 11 motorcycles. The location is phenomenal right next to Napoleon´s birthplace and all the tourist traps along the waterfront. The hotel clearly went through a big renovation in the recent past mostly focused on the bathrooms (which... More
