There seems to be a shortage of mid price / cheap hotels in Ajaccio. Having experienced arriving in Bonifacio without a reservation, and having to pay for it albeit in a good hotel, we decided to book in advance - San Carlu was the only one with rooms left though. Just to say that i spent my holidays this summer at the Hotel san Carlu in Ajaccio , it is a lovely place, people are very nice and friendly, smiling.. my room had a seaview it was very comfortable, we were in the center so we can do many things.. I wish i will return very soon more

This is such a depressing place: my boyfriend and i arrived in Ajaccio at night after a long journey. We've been given a room on the second floor. When we opened the door we couldn't believe it: the room was dull, dark, filthy. Being allergic to dust i even got asthma and itchings. The courtains were so dirty and the... more
