I so wanted to like this hotel. We needed a last minute family room in Troyes to enable us to catch up with some friends who were staying in the Troyes Mercure and Mister Bed was the only hotel with availability. The price was cheap, inexpensive and didn't cost much so I had low expectations but unfortunately even these weren't... More

We asked for a non smoking room, but were given a room which stank of cigarettes. Reception said all rooms were non smoking, but there were no non-smoking signs on most of the rooms. The mattress was hammock shaped. The shower overflowed. The window was either wide open (not good in February) or shut. The breakfast was good but the... More

Stay here if you like to fry your insides. Rooms are about 20 degrees hotter than outside, NO airflow, the window opens a small amount at the top only, so no breeze and no air con. The most stressful two nights ever being on a top bunk sweating and suffocating. Bathrooms reminiscent of an airplane toilet. €6 breakfast of dried... More

This was amazing value, no complaints. Plenty of room and clean. It was a little noisy with some of the guests arriving late but this would be the same anyware. We didn't bother with the breakfast and decided to get the kids a breakfast in a Mcdonalds nearby, the only problem is that its not the same as in England and... Great room rate, family of four for 44 euros but I had forgotten the warning about the nightclub! Boom boom boom from midnight until 4am when the doughnuting cars and screaming from the nightclubbers took over! Room was fine, basic but comfy, shower leaked into the bedroom and soaked the bathroom. It did the job but the nightclub was a... More

The room was about what we expected for a cheap bed. HOWEVER it was the follow up that we objected to. We booked through booking.com and a glitch occurred so we booked again and got what we thought were two rooms. As we were on the road we closed the ipad and travelled to Troyes and booked in. Staff had... More

For a budget hotel, Mister Bed offers everything you need for a quick stop en route to your holiday or return. The family room was fine with large beds, and an innovative bunk to make the most use of the space. The room was plenty large enough because of the well thought out design. It was not cramped in the... More

Stayed here on the way down to the alps on a Friday night. Arrived at midnight, guy on reception was very pleasant. Hotel looks very tired from outside. Went to room which stank of old smoke. Climbed into bed to be greeted by thumping bass from the nighclub about 75m away next door. This continued until past 4am. That was... More

This is part of a budget hotel chain normally sited near business parks or highway interchanges on the outskirts of towns and cities. This one for Troyes is actually in the suburb of St. Sevain 4.5km west of the wonderful town of Troyes with its 12-16thC old town centre. The hotel is adequate with rooms larger than the Premiere Class... More

Arrived at 10pm after travelling from the north east of England and encountering a 2 hour channel tunnel delay. The automated check in was not working but fortunately the receptionist had stayed late and we were able to check in. The room was a bit of a surprise but it only cost €43 for 4 of us so we feel...
