We travelled for seven nights around France, staying in budget hotels such as Kyriad and B&B. We averaged around €45ish for the twin room without breakfast. Some a bit more, some a bit less. Even my GPS struggled to find this motel. Selected on price; on reflection it was satisfactory. I got what I paid for. Its decor would be more in fitting with the southern side of the Mediterranean. I had dinner and breakfast in the motel and both were satisfactory

A late change of plan brought us to this hotel in Troyes late on a Thursday afternoon. The drive from the centre of Troyes seemed to take us further and further into a housing estate and we were quite worried about where we were going. We stayed here on a stopover from Calais to the south of France. Very basic but clean motor inn with no frills, price is fair. The first room we were shown was tiny and dirty. After complaining, and after having told us that it was the only one available (despite there being almost no cars in the car park) they found us another one. Last review I read for this Motel was poor and I wanted to say that we did not see any derelict buildings just the suburbs of Troyes and I suppose it depends what you want. We drove for 30mins through the suberbs of Troyes to get to the Motel. When arrived I thought we had some how found our way into Beirut. The place is surrounded by flats, half of which are derelict. We did'nt stay at all (did not even get out of the car)!!
