Booked this hotel as a place to rest our heads en route to the South of France. I hadn't realised there was a cheaper version of Ibis and so I was expecting the usual comfortable Ibis standards and was disappointed. Our room was basic and looked slightly like Ikea had designed a prison cell! The room was clean but there... More

I suppose you get what you pay for. An unusual experience. We had a double bed with a fixed bunk over which my husband banged his head on.room was clean. receptionist took ages on the phone and i stood for 10 mins + waiting to sign in. there are no toilets until you get to your room. Very near to... More

The most important benefit of this hotel is the location very close to the old town. Ibis Budget gives a basic offer, hospital-like rooms, no decoration... nothing more nothing less. The parking on the roof is practical ( next to the rooms with a separated entrance ) . The exit-road from the parking has a really big hole…I almost damaged... More

We had a stopover en route to the Alps for skiing. I'd rate this 4/5 based on rating it for what it is - a budget, stopover hotel. Upon check in, the receptionist spoke no English, but no problem. We had two rooms - once which had a strong smell of bleach. We opened the window and it soon cleared... More

Small-ish clean rooms with comfortable beds. Close to the old town. When asked if she could call a sister Ibis hotel to check room availability, the receptionist had a mini tantrum. Not v professional

Short walk to town and huge free parking at the back and on top of the building, drive around to the upper carpark (right of the building from the street then left and left up the ramp) and enter the hotel from there as it is on a busy road. Wifi was good and room was clean but dated. The... More

The hotel is well situated in the town close to every thing you would want to see. we was only on a stop over so we didn't get to see much of the town but what we did see was a good. As for the hotel it's what you pay for budget clean fresh and small. Free car park and... More

At 49 euros for a room for 3 people, you can't really complain, can you? And so I didn't moan about having 2 towels for 3 people, and having to make the extra bed ourselves. That said, there wasn't really anyone to moan at as reception was mostly unmanned - you pick up the phone if you need to speak... More

We've stayed in many Ibis budget hotels before, so know you get why you pay for. However, this is below par. It's in a building so charmless that your local abbatoir looks like the Taj Mahal in comparison. The car park at the back is free, but you share it with 2 abandoned cars with grass growing underneath, "courting" couples... More
