This hotel has made some effort to provide pleasant inexpensive accommodation, however we found both the worn mattress and pillows had been encased in plastic, which meant a very uncomfortable and sleepless night. We left the next morning. We were surprised to have been asked to pay in advance on arrival; but not in retrospect!

Very nice easy place to stay rooms were clean and breakfast was lovely. Very steep stairs but good value for one night in Troyes.

Would like to have given this better recommendation as old fashioned family run hotel with a lot of provincial French charm. But breakfast was mediocre, and rationed to boot, no nearby parking which means a long trek with cases, no lift, thin walls.

This is a very pleasant hotel in the center of Troyes. We booked for an over night stay on our way south and arrived after the reception had closed.
