turned up unannounced with my wife and our two yorkies asked for a room with wc/shower went up in lift found room to be clean and quiet good value for money TV all in French of course but we were in France after all) (breakfast was a good starter (continental) bread preserves yogurts cornflakes coffee tea juices plenty for continued... more

Found this hotel on Trip Advisor and was perfect for what we were looking for. We were heading to the mountains and just wanted somewhere cheap to rest our heads for the night. Barely 2 minutes from Junction 22 of the A26 (itself 2hr 15mins from Calais), this Etap is a good choice for an overnight stop. Arriving at night, the bright blue "Etap" neon sign makes it easy to find, whereas during the day, look for the red roof of "Buffalo Grill". There is lots of parking on site and the staff... more

Etap are good budget hotels usually in out of town locations by main roads. Etap Thillois was difficult to find, but is located on the edge of an out of town shopping/eating complex, which might be useful. So it is ideal for an overnight stop.
