We spent one overnight in the hotel in the third week of April and were very pleased with its location close to shopping and great restaurants and our room which featured the most beautifully appointed bathroom that we have yet encountered in Europe. The staff welcomed us with afternoon tea and speculoos biscuits and a post-prandial Scotch in the bar... More

We had arranged a three night stay at the GHdT as a base for intensive champagne drinking in and around Reims. My initial contact with the hotel was by telephone and my enquiry was dealt with in a very helpful and professional manner, well done! We arrived with two friends who were also staying with us. Our rooms were ready... More

Best hotel in Reims city, or 2nd in the whole srea. Can't be. The room was small, as one should already expect in France. Still... The staff is loveable, really. Helpful and attentive. Breakfast is rich, tasty , served with wonderful and appealing tableware. Very comfortable bed and a clean toilet. Close, still not too close to the old and... More

This hotel far exceeded my expectations based on what I saw online and the cost (121 EUR a night, in March). The building is old, but in a charming grand old house sort of way. It also feels more like a B&B than a hotel, so that might be a turn off for some people but I loved it. Our... More

My wife & i stayed here from the 9th - 12th of Feb 2015. What an absolutely wonderful hotel, the staff were very nice & helpful for us, spoke English & were nothing but excellent. On arrival we were promptly checked in, our car was parked in the hotels private car park by the staff. The room itself was well... More

This was a really nice room with an OK AC unit. The bathroom was pretty nice and the beds were comfortable. The front desk was available 24-hours. Parking was on the street, so hope you get lucky. The main road is your best option for parking, and it is free to park between certain hours. The laundry service is way... More

I was traveling alone and felt completely safe in this quiet, charming hotel. Once a lovely home, it was one of the very few buildings that was not damaged or leveled during World War I. There is a sunny breakfast room, a small bar where the hotel's champagne is among the offerings, and an indoor pool. Staff members are cordial... More

This is a wonderful boutique French hotel. From the moment you arrive you are impressed with the elegance of the reception area and the check in desk. The lady at reception was very warm and genuine with her greeting and personally took us to our room and showed how everything worked. The room was marvellous with very high ceilings, lovely... We have just spent two nights at this hotel at the end of six weeks travelling around France. The hotel is beautifully old fashioned and elegant (like stepping back in time), located in a quiet side road about ten minutes walk from town. I would agree with the earlier comment that it is a hidden oasis. Our room was very... More

This hotel is located on a side street about 10 minutes from the old town. It is gated and quiet and quite nice! The young lady at check-in spoke English and was very helpful and gracious. She parked the car for us and opened and closed the gate as needed. Breakfast was average and somewhat expensive. We had a deluxe... More
