Hotel was well placed to experience Reims. Very clean place and a good room, Tidy ensuite with enough space to sit around for a while. Pleasant vista out of balcony window. I think the hotel was refurbed recently so it was all in good order. We skipped breakfast as at 11 euros each it was pretty steep when on the doorstep... More

Welcoming , helpful staff, clean and spacious room, ok breakfast but only as the two kids ate for free (under 14's get free breakfast to encourage you to stay and eat with them as otherwise it really is too expensive.) Secure parking next door at a reduced tariff or free street parking just around the corner. Maybe a little noisy... More

Very nice and clean. In the very center of the town. Colour everywhere and all renovated in details. Two stars in France generally are terrible, we were worried about that, but Cecyl is not a classic two stars, it seems a beautiful three stars hotel. The best two stars in my life!

Stayed for two nights, delighted to find such a nice hotel at a bargain price. Both bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean with modern decor. Airconditioning in the room was a bonus as it was very hot during our stay. Curtains effectively blacked out the street lights and the double glazing ensured a quite night. Very central location. Can't fault... More

Gorgeous little hotel very central location! Rooms looked brand new. Very clean! Definitely not what I expected but really pleased. Gutted I didnt arrive earlier to see the city but it was a quick stopover on a journey to the south of france. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be staying again!

Had a lovely 2 night stay at this well located and reasonably priced hotel. The room was small and the bathroom also very compact, but all very clean and brand new - really nice showers. TV in the room and air con were an absolute boon, and they were almost there with the tea and coffee facilities - there was... More

There was a lot to like about the quirkiness of the Cecyl, including the walk through the shopping centre when initially parking, with suitcases. It is beautifully central, providing a pleasant walk through the town to the cathedral, taking in the double storey carousel on the way. It is also convenient for many of the restaurants and our rooms, with... More

Very close to all city amenities but the corollary, as always, is noisiness if the centre is busy. Both of our two nights at this hotel were sleep-deprived due to external noise; a quiet room had been requested at the time of booking. The large double bed however was comfortable and the decor still fresh if rather quirky. Despite two... More

I made a booking at this hotel 3 months in advance on the conditions: no deposit will be charged and no fee will be charged if cancelled/modified up to 1 day before date of arrival. Despite booking conditions, Hotel Cecyl charged my credit card - it has now been a month with no resolution. 1st call – the hotel claimed... More

We stayed there for a night, and we found the hotel really pleasant. It is very central, short walk from the cathedral, round the corner of brasseries and restaurants. The car park is next door and it is attached to a good size shopping center, which includes a chemist and a supermarket. I would definitely stay there again. It is... More
