they have recently renovated their rooms. very modern and clean. The hotel room we had was small but enough space for a couple nights of stay. bed is comfy and bathroom is clean enough. The elevator is small as usual, only fits one person but a bigger luggage. the reception desk is okay helpful as they dont speak a lot... More

Hotel cecyl is in a great location in center of town near train station. Rooms wee cozy, clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Small lift to go to upper floors. Huge paintings are used as decoration. Breakfast was small and pricy so we went to great patisserie one block up.

This idiosyncratic (possibly "boutique" - although I am not really sure what that means) hotel makes a real change from the big chains. Great location, handy for the pedestrianised area full of restaurants and bars, near the cathedral and art galley, and with a car park next door. UNESCO-listed historic facade but otherwise very modern fittings and furniture, also very... More

i choose this hotel because it looked so interesting. We booked well in advance but like the previous reviewer were transferred to the inferior and struggling Hotel Crystal. Do not be fooled this is not an upgrade. I had booked a superior comfort room and the room I was given was certainly not superior. The offer of free breakfast was... More

We chose Hotel Cecyl based on its price, location and reviews (here and on Booking.com) which made it out to be the best value, which we as a family (parents and the grown children) can contest to. We had 2 separate rooms - parents/kids - and they were reasonably spacious, clean and with a nice balcony views to the street... More

I stayed here with friends. We had two separate rooms. Their room had a nice window. Mine did not. It felt very cave-like, as the window opened onto a dark, small interior ventilation column, which at least meant it was quiet at night. The room was tiny and the twin bed took up all of the space. Fortunately I am... More

What a great hotel -- it's clean and the rooms were trendy and updated. As others have mentioned, don't get worried about the number of stars - this hotel was perfect for our stay in Reims. It's close to everything and you can walk to everything in the historic city of Reims. The front desk staff were always friendly and... More

What a fantastic hotel. Very easy to find, and with a parking structure and mall right next door, very convenient if there's any last minute things you need. Hotel provides discounted parking so pick up an exit ticket from the front desk and you're good to go. Just note that to use the exit ticket from the front desk, you... More

Really nice contemporary small room with french windows to tiny balcony overlooking main street. Very , very nice. tiny bathroom again contemporary but adequate. Ideal location near central pedestrian area where all the cafes & bars are. multi storey pay parking next door, discounted if staying at hotel. Would use it again.

I would not recommend staying here. We booked months in advance and then were called late afternoon before checking in to say that there was a "problem with the bathroom" and so they were moving us to a "better" hotel nearby. The hotel turned out to be their partner hotel, which was much older and in nowhere near the same... More
