Liked the atmosphere as it was filled with proper travellers of various nationalities. Some skint, some frugal, some just not suckered by the hype of other hotels that simply overcharge and under-deliver. Breakfast was cheery and we were made welcome. The car park was just outside the front door, which was handy. The room was fine for an overnight, though... More

The title says it all. Although advertised as soundproofed it just means double glazing. The hotel is on an intersection with lights so the sound of engines waiting and the fumes mean you can't open the windows anyway. My towels although obviously washed smelled of cigarette smoke. The bathroom is a pod wet room without a shower curtain so it... More

Cheap and cheerful. Always have used this hotel on my European trips. It pays off to use the same hotel as my car broke down and Jean Pierre the owner was a hero, translating and helping us above and beyond his need to. Thank you.

Old, worn out, creaky but clean and cheap. I stayed in the family room number 7. At €70 in the summer I have no complaints. The owner is a bit of a character but in a positive way. We had a fabulous evening eating in the main street (5 min’s away) and watched the amazing light show projected on the... More

booked this hotel due to its location and price. both were justified. however - extremely tiny bathroom module with VERY noisy pump-operated macerator loo. Also not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties as we were up a set of very windy stairs on 3rd floor with no lift - not for the faint-hearted! Excellent location, 5 mins walk to main... We went to the Touring hotel on a wine tasting trip in Champagne. The rooms were small but cozy, not too much external noise. The breakfast with croissants and jam and juice; it was a great way to start the day. Restaurants and shopping are less than a 5 minute walk and the wineries are only a 10 minute drive.... More

We booked this hotel as an inexpensive overnight stop on our way back from a skiing holiday. It is very easy to find with ample parking in the public car park across the road. It is also very conveniently located close to the town centre and a good selection of reasonably priced restaurants. The highlight has to be the owner... More

We booked this hotel without reading these reviews and I am very glad we stumbled upon this hotel. The price is great, the location is excellent and the host is an absolute gem. He went out of his way help us,(organizing restaurant reservations/ champagne tours etc) told us about the great art deco history of Reims and even did our... More

The thing that makes this place stand out is the owner who is a charming man full of local knowledge and advice - speaks pretty good English too. The hotel does the job for a good price is clean enough, comfortable enough and close enough to the town to make it a good place to stay if you are on... More
