My wife and I recently stayed here for 3 nights in early October 2013. The room was small and dimly lit. The bed was uncomfortable. There is no one at the desk and the hotel is a door off the street with key card access. You have to flag down someone from the restaurant to check in. When we did... More

This was our last night away after a two week European tour on a motorbike. We had been to Reims before so we knew that the hotel was in a great location for bars and restaurants in the main street. We arrived and found that there was no direct access into the hotel as it was all key coded. I... More

Found the hotel in the car by seemingly driving through the equivalent of Trafalgar Square and parked up, Tony the host had lived in England it turned out so could helpfully speak a bit of English - firstly he directed us to the room for a look, then suggested where I could park securely in a multi-storey round the corner... We had the set lunch which was priced at 11.90 euros and it was good steak and chips with fromage frais and apricots followed by coffee with a bottle of Rose. It cost 48 euros and was worth the money. Service was good and the place was busy throughout. No better than others we ate in but ok if you... More

Toni, the manager, was a very strong personality. We found the hotel easily from the train station. We had reservations and Toni sent us up to our room on the second floor. We walked in on a couple on the bed! Toni went into swift, immediate, and loud, vocal reaction! He yelled at his staff and into the phone. We... More

Location of the hotel is really good. Also rooms are clean and newly renovated. Only thing was that people had smoked there and there was a disgusting smell because of this. -Well, problem solved by keeping the door open all night. Definitely a place for young people, there's also noisy bars around so not the most comfortable if you want... More

Ideal for a BRIEF stay in Reims. Central location is ideal for touring the local champagne houses. Funky and characterful room with a good shower. Steep staircase makes lugging heavy bags rather tricky. Pretty impersonal customer service (when there was any at all)

Reims (pronon Renz) is not as small and quaint as you might think. Expect traffic if you're in a car and some difficulty finding this hotel initially. It's essentially in the southeast corner of the statue in the middle of the paedestrian mall. There is nowhere to set down a check in so park first in the very cheap daily... More

Checked in on thursday, june 2, after having booked it a month ago at booking.com at 75€ for the double. At the check in i realize that the rack price is 70€: i mail booking.com right away asking for a refund. Interesting enough: i was urned down because the lower price was not on the web and i did not... More
