We stayed for three nights. The first night was very busy and the room we were given 43 which seemed to be right over the kitchen. Pots and pans were clattered right under out window until 11pm and then at 6am another loud noise started. We asked to be moved and as the next day it was not very busy... More

This is a very reasonably priced family run hotel. We stayed in a family room with bunk beds, a novelty for our kids so was a big hit! There was also a cot in the corner so could have easily accommodated a further baby/toddler. If you're looking for a modern hotel then this is not for you but it is... More

We wanted somewhere reasonably priced with family rooms to help break up the slog of traversing France from Calais through to Lucerne in Switzerland. Auberge Champenoise proved to be an ideal choice. Clean room, friendly staff decent breakfast. Tis hotel ticked all the boxes for what we needed. Don't stay here expecting pavement cafe's and multiple eating options, you would... More

We stayed in this place for 3 nights during our business trip to Champagne. If we arrived hotel, it was Sunday evening at 11.30PM. Main door was open, but we can't find any person in reception...but for our good surprise we were found our room key in basket on reception counter tagged with my name. Super! We had room with... The Auberge is a typical old fashioned French country hotel. We were really pleased to have foung such a lovely place to stay, with all the ambience not found in modern plastic counterparts. I am glad such hotels still exist. The rooms were of a good size with plenty of hot water in the shower room. Beds a bit hard,... More

Well we went here last year and we returned this year for the same reason. Its simply the least expensive place in the best location for the wine tasting event we were attending. Once you've got over the plastic pod shower rooms and brightly coloured 70s/80s decor, it's really not that bad. There are lots of interesting bits of Champagne... More

We failed to make reservations for the Epernay Reims area of France early enough and found this Auberge through Tripadvisor. It's rated 3-stars, but I don't know who's giving out the stars! The Auberge itself is quaint and has obviously been added on to over the years. Our room had enough room, but the bathroom was ridiculous! It was a... More

Have stayed here many, many times since 1986, sometimes for a few days, sometimes an overnight stop. Always efficient and friendly service and excellent food. Very good value. In a quiet village south of Epernay, the capital of Champagne. Warning! If you want a good night's sleep, don't go on a Saturday night as they hold a dinner dance that... More

It was already the second time we stayed in this hotel, the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is great and the house champagne is one off the best off the smal champagne house that i drunk. Next year when we go back to the champagne region we sertently go back to the auberge champenoise.

Stayed here for a week in July 2013. Lovely hotel with great staff and nice varied food for breakfast and dinner. The house champagne is very good, the barman/ owner is incredible. It is also a nice walk into Epernay (and a stagger back if you over indulge). Great play area for kids (and me). My ideal French country inn.
