Amazing hotel. For sure the best in Champagne region. Great staff, amazing breakfast!! Unfortunately the kitchen was closed during our stay. The room was new and well furnished, but the TV was not got and the room wifi was not working. But For sure we will come back.

Checking in sets the scene. Settled into armchairs, we were offered a glass of Champagne to revive us after our journey. A plate of Madeline cakes too: shades of Proust, but now Champagne memories for me. The best bedrooms are in a separate building a short walk across the garden. All have a private terrace with views of the tranquil... More

This is a most unusual hotel in so much as there are three separate areas to it, none of which are linked. To access the reception area/dining rooms/bedrooms you have to walk outside which if wet is a pain and not what you expect of a Relais &Chateau Hotel. The bedrooms have great views but from them it is a long... More

So there are Relais and Chateaux and Relais AND Chateaux. This one is one of those that I will forget. Relais Chateaux has a name for outstanding and superb service. This one does not live to R n C reputation. It is not bad, it is just plain, not a memorable place that I would come back. To start, we... More

20 years ago this was an excellent hotel with much to be recommended about it, so we were bitterly disappointed when we returned. I do not apologise for the length of my review, there was a lot I am not happy with and they actually sent us an email asking us to write a review on Tripadvisor, so here it... More

This is a lovely property set on the hillside of Champillon overlooking Epernay in the distance. The rooms have beautiful views of the vineyards. We were a group of 7 using 3 rooms and each one was different - ranging from modern to traditional furnishings. The staff was attentive and friendly and all spoke English fluently. The dining room is... More

Once you go to Champagne you drink champagne and watch vineyards. Once you drink champagne you visit Epernay. Once you visit Epernay you enter Moet and Chandon house. Once you enter the house you are interested in their vineyard. And voilia - you find yourself in Royal Champagne hotel. Full of history, visited by Napoleon, with rooms facing Epernay and... More

We stayed as part of a group and stayed for two nights and enjoyed dinner both evenings. We stayed again in the separate suites overlooking beautiful views over the valley/vineyards. These offer a reasonable-sized bedroom and a terrace with table and chairs and a double sun-lounger. Comfortable shower/bathroom with separate toilet. Small separate sitting-room with TV and coffee machine. Tripadvisor... More

Our friends had booked this hotel as they had stayed there the year before and we were all using it as an overnight stop travelling back from Annecy. We had booked into the restaurant for the Friday evening, on arrival they said it was essential as the restaurant was fully booked. When we arrived for our booking we were basically... More

Had a flying visit to this hotel on Sunday night, lovely room, great view over the valley and the vineyards! Too short a visit but well worth having on your to do list!! Had a meal in the restaurant, and while not as good as some I have been to,still excellent. I think ,as it was a menu du jour, it... More
