We loved the quaint yet eclectic décor in our good sized, well appointed, very comfortable and exceptionally quiet room. The shower was the BEST we ever had!! They even had a decent hairdryer!! When travelling we generally will have breakfast in hotels as it speeds up getting our day underway, however, we had read some negative views on the breakfast... More

Eperney is a smallish town with several champagne shops and bars. The main attraction here for us was Moet & Chandon and this small typically French chateau hotel was just around the corner literally staggering distance. The hotel manager, staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't stay for breakfast as we prefer a lie in, so nice to have... More

My wife and I highly recommend this place with an ideal location within close walking distance to Moet & Chandon and where we had amazing breakfast, which although not included was well worth it. We cannot wait to return.

Confirming others' comments that Le Clos Raymi is indeed comfortable, secluded, safe, and close to the main town. Very definitely a B&B and nothing more - don't expect any hotel facilities or service. Breakfast bordering on expensive at around £15 each but offers a reasonable choice; if you are there for a few days skip breakfast a couple of times... More

I will preface this review by saying it depends on what sort of accommodation experience you are seeking, as to whether or not Clos Raymi fits the bill. For us, (three couples staying for 5 nights) it was a very poor fit! Clos Raymi is (or was) something of an institution in Epernay. Unfortunately our group of six felt it... More

We stayed here after a hectic few days in Paris. It was very peaceful and secluded, but still easy walking distance to the middle of town. We had the lovely Coloniale room on the first floor, and we really likes the style and quality of the room. Lovely linen and a very comfortable bed, and a good sized bathroom. Breakfast... More

This is more a B&B than a hotel. But big plus points are safe parking and a quiet area in a town where this is at premium. We took the cheapest room in the loft - which was basic but clean. We chose not to take the breakfast as it is expensive. The owners are efficient but cool - but... More

We were not able to have a room at Maison Eugène, so we tried this one which is as well located, just off Moët &Chandon and the Main Champagne Road in Epernay. Very clean hotel run by it seems a family, clean room, nice breakfast table, they really care and they care about details too. Nice hotel, we'll be back.

That's what I feel with this hotel, or better, B&B. The first impression when you enter the private property starts with a mixed feeling. When you are directed by car towards the address of the hotel you cross outskirts of Epernay with champagne bottling and producing facilities, not your romantic idea of a idyllic place, whereas the centre of Epernay... A little off the beaten track but well worth finding. The imposing wrought iron gates and facade of the building suggest the residence of a previous wealthy resident. Now a hotel, it preserves its Gallic charm with high ceilings, exposed timbers and selected art works. Our room on the second floor was a bit of a climb with heavy suitcases... More
