Tried to book with Elisabeth again for our tour in France for July. Emailed her twice in January this year. No response. So in July when we were in area, we drove past. Notice on the gates saying it was sold and is to become a Champagne House. Very sad. Will the place and Elisabeth too.

This Chateau did not disappoint us. The garden was beautiful and our room overlooked it. The bathroom was newly renovated, clean and with the latest fixtures and appointments. Bed was comfortable and room laid out well. Hugh windows throughout the chateau with lovely drapery. So you felt like you were indeed in an historical chateau. Our hostess, Elizabeth, was very... We stayed in this historic and renovated chateau in late October. Mme Vollereaux is a wonderful hostess. The rooms are comfortable. The public rooms and gardens are available for relaxation and sipping the outstanding champagne from the area. If you like ambiance and comfort without glitter, you will enjoy your stay at Les Aulnois. P.S. Breakfast is outstanding.

My husband and I booked a Wednesday night at this chateau during our trip to the Champagne region. We had previously stayed in Reims and Epernay and were having a lovely time. We had purchased a bottle of Dom Perignon at the Moet & Chandon cellars a few days earlier, and hoped to drink it at the chateau. So, anyway,... More

My husband and I spent three days around France's champagne region. We stayed in the Simmone suite at the chateau, which was absolutely glorious. We felt like we had stepped back in time...the chateau and hospitality was outstanding. Each morning we woke up to a lovely home cooked breakfast, and on the Saturday night we had the four course dinner... More

Les Aulnois is an exquisitely renovated 18th century chateau that exudes French country charm. The owner, Elisabeth, spent four years lovingly restoring and tastefully decorating this gem of a property. We stayed in the Jeanne Charlotte room which was spacious and overlooks the lovely back, very French, garden. We appreciated the generous bathroom which is the size of some hotel... More

We spent two nights at this charming hotel with our friends, and it really is a great choice for exploring the Champagne region. The rooms were well renovated with beautiful details, and the chateau had a great feeling of going back in time. Recommended for couples and friends. Btw, wlan worked well and it was for free. One suggestion for... More

We are going for the third time this year. Les Aulnois is so beautiful and has all the expectations for a chateau in champagne. Elisabeth, the owner is charming and an excellent chef with that extra touch of taste and style. Simple (cool) and chic in a perfect combination. Quiet and romantic!

What an incredible place! I feel so lucky to have had the pleasure of staying at Les Aulnois. Elisabeth was a pleasure to meet and very helpful, letting us leave our things whilst we collected our rental vehicle. We had dinner cooked for us by Elisabeth and the food was devine! the Vollereaux Champagne is delicious and we sat in... More

Situated on the outskirts of Eperney this is a magnificently renovated chateau with a lovely garden. Elisabeth is an efficient and courteous host who made us an impromptu supper and served some excellent family champagne. Our room (Claire) was more like a small suite, beautifully furnished with a very comfortable bed. Wireless Internet throughout the chateau was a bonus. Breakfast... More
