Not having booked a hotel for our return journey from Italy and the first two we tried stopping at being 'complet', we stopped at the Formule 1 for the first time in several years. If you are very poor, or there are no alternatives, then a Formule 1 (any Formule 1) is a reasonable option, otherwise, even if you are... More

I unfortunately booked the wrong date by one digit on the accorhotels website. I realised my mistake as soon as the confirmation email arrived and called customer services within around an hour. Despite the booking being a month in advance F1Hotel Chaumont (who have the discretion to help) would not assist and in fact did not reply to a complaint... More

Its just off the motorway, and its cheap. 3 to a room. Small but clean room. Toilet and shower just up the corridor. A quick breakfast for e4odd, and then back on the road.....Perfect and cheap for that sort of use. Not somewhere I would like to be based though.

We are pretty familiar with the F1 set up as have stayed at several of their hotels. We arrived late in the evening, check in was friendly although a little slow. Our main gripe was that the bedroom smelled really badly of smoke, all the bedlinen and fittings. There were even cigarette burns in the sheets. The temperature was also... More

I have been driving past Formula1s for years but have never had the opportunity to try out the product. The good news is that most F1s in France have now been completely renovated so the mostel (motor hostel) format is upto scratch. The inside is exactly what it says on the tin and they take pets. Rooms are simple, clean,... More

Does exactly what it says on the tin - acceptable bed, clean room, free wifi, decent breakfast, and bargain price. No one is going to stay here for a month, but for a quick overnighter en route to the south/skiing, it's ideal.

Small, boxy rooms, made from Lego. No toilet or shower in room, and communal facilities only really suitable for thin people. Vending machine very expensive, if it is not out of order. Rooms smell smoky, even non-smoking ones. Think I will go and spend the night in the car.

Chose this hotel as had stayed in two previous F1 hotels and had been really impressed. This one was a bit different though as, although we were arriving late at night, this one had all night reception open )the others had an automatic check in service). We hung around with 3 kids waiting in the reception area, ringing the telephone... More
