Stayed just one night as a stopover on journey to south. Arrived after long day driving to find our room ready and waiting ... a little sign hung on the door handle with our name on it! Phoned Mathilde to say we had arrived and she came and showed us round the rest of the property including the beautiful lounge... More

This is a fantastic place to stay deep in the countryside, but striking distance from Troyes. Mathilde is a wonderful host and kindly cooked us a fantastic meal of soup, cold meats and dauphinois potatoes, then apple crumble and delicious local cheeses all for a very reasonable sum. The family bedroom is beautifully furnished, with an excellent bathroom and kitchenette.... More

We stayed here for one night to break up the journey to Provence. I just wished we had also booked the return overnight stop here. The property is delightful, an old barn conversion. We chose the smaller room and it was perfect with a convenient kitchen corner so we could make our evening meal. It had a massive shower room with... More

We've just come back from a holiday in the French Alps and needed to break the homeward journey to the UK. After much research on the internet, I found this lovely "chambre d'hote" just off the A26 - north of Troyes (lovely old city - worth a visit) and south of Reims. Our GPS took us straight there, but it's... More

As a couple we stayed in the room for 4 people. Very spacious! We had a complete kitchen. Bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Every morning we had something else (we stayed for 5 nights). The fires we lit in the morning. Very quiet. The lady was very nice. To recommend!!!!

We stayed one night with children aged 10, 12 and 14 in the two rooms on the ground floor and this is simply the best B&B we have ever stayed in! In one of the rooms was a kitchenette with microwave, hot plates, fridge, cutlery and crockery - and the Italian shower is to die for. The rooms are decorated... More

We stayed at "le Parenthese" just 1 night and we really really enjoyed it. Dosnon is a little country town in the middle of nowhere. To reach it, you have to drive along endless fields for half an hour, and when you think you're lost...you've arrived. The property is a totally restored country house, with an incredible 2-sided fireplace in... More
