Lovely hotel, good value for money and lovely location less than 10 minutes stroll from the train station and tram stop. Room was spacious and despite overlooking the road and having the window open we were not disturbed by traffic noise. Good selection at breakfast. Very helpful friendly staff. Would happily stay here again.

This charming hotel is a 10 minute walk along a tree-lined boulevard to the historic centre. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful, attentive and friendly. We were able to get a large family room to comfortably sleep the five of us, and it was very reasonably priced. The breakfast was also good value. There is... More

We stayed at the Hotel Mirabeau for one night on a drive through France. It is located on a fairly busy road in Tours, but we were never disturbed by the traffic noise, and found the hotel to be well located for the centre of this lovely town. Breakfast was served in the kitchen and dining room, and was fine.... More

Of all the hotels we stayed in on our 14 day trip, this was one of our favorites. It is definitely a matter of taste since my elderly parents would not agree and the rooms face the street (at least ours) so you may not like the steet sounds but we loved the high ceilings and the long tall windows... A boutique quaint hotel with a very comfortable-sized room. The bathroom was modern and clean. The bathtub was a little high getting in and out of (even for us in our 30s) so be careful if you have "mobility" issues. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is located only 10 mins walk from Tours train station and... More

It is about 15 min walk from train station/tourism office/boulangerie and 20 min to grocery stores/tram (we walked more than I thought). It is furnished really well inside which I was surprised by. The owners seem to take good care of the place. Breakfast was quite pricey so we didn't eat there. Staff were helpful and nice. We stayed in... More

First stop on a biking trip through the Loire. The rooms are small, simple but clean. Staff was excellent and really went out of their way to help with small requests and advice on the area. Centrally located, I arrived by train, this was an easy walk to the train station. You can walk or easy cab to almost anything... More

This hotel definitely out-classes its two-star rating! Our room was simple, but clean, reasonably spacious, and even had a bit of character. Staff are welcoming and friendly, and the whole hotel is clean, neat and well set up. Its also easy walking distance from the train station, and the nearby neighbourhood has good restaurants, bars, arts, history etc, so it... More

We booked this hotel because it was close to the train station, and we had an early morning train to catch. The staff were very friendly and helpful, allowing us to move into our room almost as soon as we arrived, even though it was mid-morning. We were pleased with our room, as it was clean, a good size and... More

We had an excellent stay at the Mirabeau and found it well located for the city centre, though a fair walk to the old city. Parking can be difficult, but the spaces outside are, free if you're lucky enough to get one; there is charged for parking close by. Our room was very spacious and rather grand for a 2... More
