We recently spent 5 nights at the Hotel Colbert and were very happy with our choice. We had a spacious quiet double room at the rear of the hotel overlooking the garden. The bed was comfortable, the shower was fantastic and the free Wi-Fi excellent. The location was just what we wanted - restaurants and sights nearby but a quiet... More

My brother and I stayed here for two nights and loved it. The place has an excellent location as it is surrounded by cafes and restaurants and is walking distance to the train station. The owners are extremely nice and very accommodating especially as we made so many last minute changes. They also helped us plan a day trip the... More

I stayed here for four nights and I was very pleasantly surprised. This being a family-run hotel the owners were a delight to be with and went out - way out - of their way to help us! Top marks for friendliness and service! The location is perfect, in a pedestrian street in the most bohemian part of town and... More

A spacious room at a very reasonable price and valuable advice from the owner on where to eat and French pronunciation. The hotel itself is in a wonderful part of the town and the owners are very charming and genuine. A short walk to the train station makes coming and going and day excursions to Amboise and Chenonceau a breeze... More

Stayed 3 nights in this cute, lovely hotel. Located in a nice street, surrounded by restaurants cafés and bars. Close to the main train station, 10 mins by walking. Even closer to the Loire River, 2 mins walking. The owner of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. And a very adorable dog. I'll come back again.

Family stayed with us in town, and this hotel is conveniently located if you plan to visit the city. The street itself is one full of little bars are restaurants, and thus a great start if you stay in Tours. The rooms are larger than I expected and well decorated and clean. It is clearly a family owned hotel, with... More

This is a great little hotel in the heart of Tours. It's an easy less than 10 minute walk from the train station and tourist office. Since I came in by train, I'm not sure about the parking or convenience of driving to the hotel as it is on a small one way, pedestrian type street. The hotel itself is... More

First of all Tours is a beautiful place. The hotel is on a vibrant street with loads of different bars and restaurants, off the main drag but still very central and only a short walk to the station etc. not too busy so noise wasn't a problem, our room overlooked the courtyard at the back though. Breakfast was really nice... More

Stayed in a triple room which was very spacious and clean. Hotel is located on a street with a great choice of restaurants and bars. The owner recommended a few local restaurants (Le Laurenty and Au Lapin Qui Fume), both of which we enjoyed. Breakfast at the hotel is available for 7 euros pp (toast with various spreads, croissants, yoghurt,... More
