The hotel is far better than some of the reviews indicate, considering the price of the rooms. Our room was spacious, easy to cool with air con, adequate storage space and quiet at night because it was at the back of the hotel. As other reviewers have said the replenishing of tea/coffee in rooms was unreliable, but that is a... More

Adequate for a few days. Continental breakfast good, range of foods and plentiful. Rooms clean, although rather small. We faced back onto other buildings with evening sun, this made our room very hot and difficult to cool down. However, some of our group had rooms at front onto the road and said they had to keep windows closed because of... More

Average for a 3* but not up to scratch with the tea making facilities. 2 milk not enough for two people who want two drinks each! Breakfast ok but no variation and get there early or the selection becomes even more limited. Tables not cleared quickly enough to provide sufficient crockery for all when the hotel is full.Clean and most... More

Our room was clean with simple furnishings, not as large as the pictures lead you to believe. Location was within walking distance to town centre, about a 10 -15 minute walk. Many nice restaurants nearby (see our blog for reviews). The staff was friendly and professional. Overall a decent hotel but nothing special.

We went here as part of a 'Treyn' holiday package. I had misgivings after reading the reviews shortly before our departure -so I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived and found an excellent hotel and pleasant staff. The public areas are bright and well decorated-our room was fine, and even though it overlooked the road was very quiet-thanks to double... More

What kind of hotel has a maintenance contract that takes 3 plus days to repair the lift? You got it right! To be fair the hotel probably merited a little more than average as the personnel were excellent and the hotel was comfortable enough

We were rather shocked checking in as the photos online show a much newer and cleaner place. The double plus single bed room we had was very small. Storage space was very limited. The walls were scuffed, carpet worn, wallpaper peeling. The Wifi also did not work. If we had known the state this hotel was in, we would have... More

On a busy main road, so a bit noisy with the window open, fairly basic room, minimal storage space. Lovely comfortable bed and good quality bedding. Recently renovated - and lovely - bathroom. I felt the hotel was let down by the rude dining room staff at breakfast. Everything we asked for, we were told there was no more of... More

We stayed at the Kyriad Tours Centre Hotel last night, we only stayed for one night before catching our flight home. We were welcomed by a very friendly receptionist, booked in quickly and asked if we wanted a twin or double room. My husband was told that the parking outside the hotel was free until 9am, and advised where we... More

Not as close to the centre as you might expect - about a 10 min brisk walk which is not easy with luggage. Found the room to be clean but basic. Unusual policies - i.e. everytime time you leave the premises to go out, you need to hand in your key at reception. If you need to use an iron,... More
