Within easy walking distance of everything that Tours has to offer, especially the best 'restaurant/bar street' you could wish for, but also close to shopping and other attractions. Rooms are small but very comfortable and tidy with a decent shower - although I would prefer a door rather than a clingy shower curtain every time. Breakfast offers a good selection... More

The hotel is about 10mins walk from train station and 2 mins walk to the main shopping area in Tours. (Though we were there for Chateau tour). The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood. The room is not big but can still walk around easily. The bathroom is narrow so could not fit into two persons at the same... More

this was a quiet and calm stay in a delightful central location. parking was reasonable. there was a good choice of restaurants and cafes close by. the room was small but comfortable and well decorated. staff were very friendly and helpful . they even reserved a parking place for us outside of the hotel. breakfast was of a high standard.

We were a little nervous about staying at a 2 star after we had found a few only so, so 3 stars HOWEVER this is a great place to stay in Tours. Our room on the 2nd floor was simple but had all the modern amenities- wifi, new bathroom, quiet and very clean. Great bed and we both slept well.... More

Pluses. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very central, handy for restaurants etc. pleasant check in. Minuses. At €80 for double room as described here is far too expensive. Room quite small. Shower room very small, with one of those shower curtains that wants to grab you. Generally dingy feel as illustrated by visibly worn stair carpets and bedroom carpet that looked... More

This proved and ideal location for an overnight stop in Tours. The staff are very helpful - nothing was too much trouble and we were helped to find a great restaurant under 100m from the hotel for our dinner. The rooms are calm, minimal and small (this is a re - furbished old hotel) but with comfortable beds and good... More

We had the most incredible check-in experience thanks to the staff at the Ronsard. The hotel does not have an elevator, but the service and breakfast are worth the calories you will burn while li Lugging your bags up the flight of stairs. The room was minimal on decor and quite clean. And its location and affordable breakfast option make... More

Stayed here for 2 nights while exploring the Loire Valley. Walking distance to the train station, and old town. Nice, comfortable, and tastefully decorated rooms. Just be wary of the creaky floorboards above, which might not suit light sleepers. We had the breakfast which was Ok, but handy as the first thing you want to do in the morning is... More

I stayed here one night and wish it had been for longer. This hotel was very clean, quiet and in a great location. The room had a heater, airconditioning, lots of pillows, comfy bed, free WIFI. Shampoo was provided, soap, plastic cups, plenty of towels. Don't hesitate to stay here. On Sunday, you can find the HUGE markets within a... More

A two night stay in the Loire before heading South. Overall This hotel was excellent. Staff were pleasant and helpful, breakfast was good and I even managed to park directly outside. The room and en suite were absolutely fine. Highly recommended.
