This accommodation was part of our 2700kms tandem cycling holiday through France. Our bicycle was garaged in a secure underground carpark. Whilst a glitch in the booking system had bumped our reservation off, we were delighted once the error was acknowledged and given an upgrade. The room was magnificent - extremely spacious with a large separate seating area, king-sized bed,... More

As others have said, this is a great place. We are in our late 60s and travelling around France by train for three months. This was a welcome stop and will be remembered. An easy walk to the station, restaurants and old city although a bit dark and dingy late at night. Thanks to all the friendly staff especially Melanie.

Me and my girlfriend from Dublin came over for a couple of days and stayed in this hotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to all the major touristic attractions from the hotel. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the morning. The bed was absolutely fantastic (the staff told us they got recently... More

We picked this hotel, as we were travelling by train from Paris to Tours. It is located just next to the train station. Although not very central, it is a nice stroll to walk from the hotel to the cathedral and the old town. The hotel is like any other Mercure hotel, although that one is closer to an Ibis... More

All you'd expect from a mercure. Centrally located and with parking. Amazing blonde receptionist whose customer service made us feel like we were the most impotant guests ahed met that year, very friendly and professional.

This was quite a surprise, unlike any Mercure Hotel we have stayed in before (or since). The price is lower than some but the quality is even lower. There was no curtain to the shower so the bathroom floor flooded and, as the extractor fan wasn't working, everything steamed up - including the rest of the room when we opened... More

Very charming, friendly and helpful reception staff who took pride in providing excellent service. Showed us where to find a lovely local restaurant, off the tourist track, with great local food. Nicely appointed room and efficient check-in and out.

I thought that this hotel was absolutely perfect for us as we set about visiting Tours. The two absolutely charming ladies on reception were very helpful and provided us with a very welcome overview of what we should visit whilst in the city. The car park was something else and one of the most secure you could hope for, which... More

We have just stuck in the lift for 20 minutes because we don't know that the lift overload. No sign if we're overload. Then the technician help us out and the hotel staff angry and shout to us... really poor attitude from the staff

Just a couple minutes walk from the railway station. It is convenient for business. Room is normal but clean, and with a comfortable bed. Toilet is also very clean. Breakfast is good, fresh juices with very good taste breads. One thing, check in and check out is a bit time consuming because the reception has only 1 staff...
