After reading some reviews I was a little worried but needn't have been. The only down side of this place is that it is a 1.5 km walk from the train station but still manageable. My room was clean, lovely and quiet with a large window I could open to get some fresh air. Breakfast was ok although the coffee... More

Deat therese, Thank you for sharing your experience on tripadvisor. It was a pleasure for the entire team to welcome you at the Inter Hotel Au relais Saint Eloi. We hope you enjoyed our new decoration of the standard rooms renovated 2 months ago. For your next trip don't hesitate to take the bus 34, 5 or 3A from the... More

In reading other reviews I may have stayed at a different hotel, found it a mix of old and new, rooms were basic but OK, clean and comfortable. Breakfast area was large with good choice of food replenished as they were used. Staff were helpful and polite (yes it was France), good secure parking and easy access in and out... More

At the time of writing, this hotel is rated 54 out of 76 hotels in Tours - that means there are 22 worse than this? Surely not! Situated in a rather uninspiring part of town (where it fits in well) the place has seen better days. The secure underground parking is a bonus - even at €8 - which alone... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on our short circuit of the Loire châteaux. The hotel is not difficult to find with a GPS and not far from the city center. But inside is rather old looking and in need of a good refurbishement and a thorough cleaning. The room had an odd smell ( air refreshener?) so we had... More

Hotel is a short walk from the old town and is clean, etc. But, we booked a family room and the kids bed as was accessible via a ladder into a mezzanine above. Kids found it cool but I wouldn't recommend for anyone with kids younger than 5 or need to get up in the night. Room was poky, but... More

The room was tight. There was an upstairs mezzanine that was too hot. Air conditioning only worked in the room below the mezzanine. Jean Marc on reception was very helpful but the hotel is just too sad for words. You can tell this from the fact that there has been no management responses to any reviews. The room was too... More

We booked a family room and were assinged to a room on the 4th floor. The room was too small for two adults + two kids with luggage and the children's bed was only reachable by climbing a ladder (bunk-bed style...)! We expected the "family room" to be big and we did not have enough space to move around the... More

Very mediocre hotel although clean and quite comfortabñe. The room was very small and the decor was strange - very dated and garish colour scheme. Breakfast was good and parking was safe and secure although it was 7euro to park. Situation was good with only a few minutes walk to the old part of Tours. Plenty of restaurants and bars... More

Décor vieux et passé, moquette vieille et cassé, déprimant! La honte!! On était décu, c'était notre dernier soir de vacances dans une belle ville. 79€ - je n'aurais même payé 10€. Dated & very poor standard rooms for the 79€ price tag - old, dirty & broken carpet, exposed bathroom sink, 1920s hairdryer. I wouldn't have paid 10€ if I'd... More

My boyfriend and I were very tired because we were travelling all day long and we want a place to rest and booked this hotel for 1 night. We arrived at night around 10 pm. The room was horrible, the colours on the wall, red, yellow and the carpet blue.It was a depressed room. We went out for fresh air... More
