We have stayed here several times and found it a good base for exploring the Loire area. The hotel now looks a bit shabby with paint peeling in places, but it's a lot cheaper then most decent hotels in the area, so perhaps excusable. I guess we shall probably come here again. This time we had a room on the... More

This authentic Loire Valley chateau with lovely gardens was a great place to stay. Our room was large, clean, very comfortable with a king-size bed and brand-new bathroom. The air-conditioning was not strong enough for a hot summer night but those are fairly rare. The restaurant was excellent, service warm and friendly, minibar stocked. Wifi did not work. Very nice... Stayed in a suite overlooking the garden, it was comfortable but long and thin, main issue was the air conditioning didn't work so the rooms were hot and stuffy even with the windows open and a fan, not helped by being in the roof. The food in the bistro was excellent, I don't think that the main restaurant was open... More

This is a traditional small chateau in a very peaceful location just south of Tours, a couple of miles drive from the centre of the city. The hotel was welcoming, clean and the staff were all charming, Our room had a view of the gardens and the imposing front of the building. We had a great night's sleep here. We... More

Stayed here for one night on a business trip with 10 colleagues the night before a seminar at the Chateau. I stayed in the pavilion and my room was very well equipped and recently renovated. The evening meal was superb with excellent wine list. The breakfast choice was a little disappointing mainly because it was so dominated by pastries. Ideal... More

While the main building is promising, the hotel staff ruins the experience. The scolding front desk staff seem to intensely dislike children and make no attempt to hide this. They were repeatedly rude to my children and that of another family's staying at the hotel. Coupled with crumbling infrastructure makes this a place to avoid.

First discovered by us at least seven years ago, this hotel is as welcoming as ever. Its location is unexpected - the first time we stayed my husband was certain my navigation was 'out' - how could there be an hotel in the network of 'relais de silence' when we were in the middle of high-rise blocks of flats? but... Out of town, along the river, by the park, you'll find this 18th century manor. Our large room full of stylish furnishings and full bed with high quality fabrics. Modern bathroom with all amenities. Spa & steam bath was quite refreshing. Restaurant menu was limited but very good. Staff, welcoming and helpful. Free parking on site. PS. When you want... More

Last time we stayed was in November and it began to snow, this time was equally magical , and we dined on the terrace overlooking the magnificent gardens in the height of summer. It is a super stopping off point while travelling to and from the South, or a lovely base while visiting the chateaux of the Loire. Last time... More

We were 2 adults and 1 child. Spent 1 night here while touring the Loire Valley on a self-guided bike tour. Was a warm atmosphere for an overnight - nice dinner and breakfast. Our room was lovely and spacious, including a large bathroom - much appreciated.
