Out of town, along the river, by the park, you'll find this 18th century manor. Our large room full of stylish furnishings and full bed with high quality fabrics. Modern bathroom with all amenities. Spa & steam bath was quite refreshing. Restaurant menu was limited but very good. Staff, welcoming and helpful. Free parking on site. PS. When you want... More

Last time we stayed was in November and it began to snow, this time was equally magical , and we dined on the terrace overlooking the magnificent gardens in the height of summer. It is a super stopping off point while travelling to and from the South, or a lovely base while visiting the chateaux of the Loire. Last time... More

We were 2 adults and 1 child. Spent 1 night here while touring the Loire Valley on a self-guided bike tour. Was a warm atmosphere for an overnight - nice dinner and breakfast. Our room was lovely and spacious, including a large bathroom - much appreciated.

The chateau is on a main road and has no view or grounds of interest. There is a heated pool but it is plastic lined (quite 'obviously') and the outside area around it is cramped. We were welcomed by the male host who we never saw again despite being there for 2 days. We were a party of 3 and... More

Charming Chateau with beautiful countryside centrally located in Tours. Although this is listed as only a three-star hotel - I found it to be quite lovely and quaint. We were there on a bike tour through the area and I thought the staff was friendly and accomodating. The food was also very good. Would recommend this Chateau for a nice... More

While traveling through The Loire Valley in France, we had the opportunity to stay at the Chateau Beaulieu for a couple of nights. Although the chateau is quite old, 15th and 16th century, it provides a lot of charm and outstanding food for dinner. The service in the restaurant is outstanding. If you are in the area, make a reservation... More

Beautiful setting and building. the rooms were small and rather cramped. We were in an annexe which was close by , on a group bicycle trip. In fact we made up the entire guests at the hotel. But the service was impossible to find when needed and then when it finally arrived it was slow, sullen and unhelpful. Hotel can't... More

We had some trouble finding the chateau - but only because of the enormous amount of work going on down the middle of Tours installing a tramway (travellers, don't let this put you off, but be aware that getting around Tours by car is difficult at the moment). The Chateau is a long way from the work though, so don't... More

We spent one night at this converted chateau during a group bicycle trip. The setting is charming and arriving at the hotel by bicycle was easy as it is not in a congested area. The room that we had was quite cramped, with barely enough space for the two of us to open our suitcases and get settled. Wi-Fi appeared... More

I went with my boyfriend and his mother to Tours for one night. She lives in Paris and none of us have been to Tours before. We wanted to stay in a chateau and found this place last minute online. It's a ways out of the town, but it really is adorable. It's small, clean, and charming. The staff was... More
