Tucked away in an area of modern buildings but with a rural view and large garden. An attractive building providin gaverage accommodation. The rooms are rather tired and need redecoration. The service on arrival and at the front desk was not very welcoming buut the food was pretty good with an enthusiastic waiter who helped us to enjoy our night's... More

We stayed here for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed it although we wished we had spent more time just relaxing on the grounds (we had booked many day trips). The food was fantastic, it is conveniently located near the A tram (easy to get downtown), and the rooms/grounds are charming indeed.

We stayed here in September for one night while touring the Loire. The chateau was a little hard to find and locals in the nearest town did not know about it. We do not speak French so this added to the difficulty. Once we found it, we were delighted. We felt as if we were back in history living in... More

From the outside the chateau looks fabulous. We has a 'castle' room which really means inside the main building, rather than an annex across the other side, near the car park. The room was excellent, other than the lack of a wash hand basin in the loo. Perhaps others might say this is typical French? But the idea of a... More

We have stayed here several times and found it a good base for exploring the Loire area. The hotel now looks a bit shabby with paint peeling in places, but it's a lot cheaper then most decent hotels in the area, so perhaps excusable. I guess we shall probably come here again. This time we had a room on the... More

This authentic Loire Valley chateau with lovely gardens was a great place to stay. Our room was large, clean, very comfortable with a king-size bed and brand-new bathroom. The air-conditioning was not strong enough for a hot summer night but those are fairly rare. The restaurant was excellent, service warm and friendly, minibar stocked. Wifi did not work. Very nice... Stayed in a suite overlooking the garden, it was comfortable but long and thin, main issue was the air conditioning didn't work so the rooms were hot and stuffy even with the windows open and a fan, not helped by being in the roof. The food in the bistro was excellent, I don't think that the main restaurant was open... More

This is a traditional small chateau in a very peaceful location just south of Tours, a couple of miles drive from the centre of the city. The hotel was welcoming, clean and the staff were all charming, Our room had a view of the gardens and the imposing front of the building. We had a great night's sleep here. We... More

Stayed here for one night on a business trip with 10 colleagues the night before a seminar at the Chateau. I stayed in the pavilion and my room was very well equipped and recently renovated. The evening meal was superb with excellent wine list. The breakfast choice was a little disappointing mainly because it was so dominated by pastries. Ideal... More

While the main building is promising, the hotel staff ruins the experience. The scolding front desk staff seem to intensely dislike children and make no attempt to hide this. They were repeatedly rude to my children and that of another family's staying at the hotel. Coupled with crumbling infrastructure makes this a place to avoid.
