The hotel was near the railway station, and most locations in town were within walking distance. We stayed at Hotel du Manoir in the summer of 2008 for 2 nights while visiting Tours and doing the one day bus tour of Loire Valley castles. The hotel was great: clean, comfortable, quiet, and close to the train station (easy 5-10 min walk). Overall, exactly what we were looking for. more

Just back from a 4 night stay at the Hotel du Manoir. This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the bus and train stations in a nice area. Our room was spotlessly clean if a little on the small side with a decent sized bathroom. Our room rate was €62 per night with breakfasts €8 extra per person.... more
