We stayed in La Heraudiere for two nights. A delightful guesthouse, our family room was lovely. A very nice garden with hidden kid's area. Breakfast was great with home made yogurt and jams. Our hosts were very helpful and accommodating.

We stayed at La Heraudiere in July for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It's a little treasure just set outside the city of Tours so you've got the best of both worlds. We were travelling with our two small children and my parents in law and it suited everyone. They have a great large garden for the... More

We had the family room next to the lounge which was comfortable and nicely appointed. Breakfast was delicious with homemade yogurt, breads and homemade jams. Fast wifi was a useful bonus too. Would come back again.

A very warm welcome from a couple running a very efficient and well kept guest house. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Very highly recommended and a good jumping off point for exploring the city of Tours.

This was overnight stopover, we were given the family rooms, which were clean and comfortable. Kids room had toys, books and games. We had dedicated bathroom and toilet. Lovely garden, lots of shade and play area for children in the trees, which they loved. Very hospitable couple, helpful at all times. Breakfast was continental, which was as expected seen as... My partner and I were travelling to the Poitiers area and we thought this place would suit. How wrong. Not a rural idyll at all. We arrived at 3.30 and were informed that we could not enter till 5.30pm. We had been on the road for over four hours, in temperatures of over 40 degrees and were exhausted. We were... More

The 2 of us booked in for 3 nights. Our room was very good and the breakfast was excellent - if French! We'd particularly recommend the homemade yogurt. We were able to park in the grounds, but it was a tight squeeze through the gate. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. The only drawback is the distance into downtown Tours.... More

We were visiting Tours and looking for a spot. We lucked out with this one. An old but well renovated B&b run by a friendly couple. 2 min drive from downtown Tours but on the other side of the river. Quick access to everything but a quiet night sleep. Good showers and great breakfast. I would recommend it

Absolutely loved our visit. Wonderful owners that took time to tell us where to go, and very knowledgeable about the local wines and wine making. The family suite is perfect for little kids. Even if our kids were bigger, they loved the kids room. Breakfast was wonderful, with homemade jams and yogurt. Highly recommend a stay at La Héraudière.

Our stay here was booked through Velo Voyageur, a biking tour. Our host Dominique was outstanding with his helpfulness & friendliness, eg, we arrived early and he came and picked up our luggage from the train station. The property, rooms were very nice and clean. Would definitely come back to stay here again.
