We booked this hotel based primarily on the nice photo and description in the Inter-Hotel booklet we had, and a pleasant stay at another hotel in that chain. This proved to be VERY MISLEADING however as this hotel was a complete dump. When we entered, to our surprise, there were 3 cats lounging in the lobby area, and the lobby... More

What a dump!! The photographs on the website look very nice and simply show a bedroom, reception and the dining area. However, once you have checked in, you enter through the devils porthole into the real doom and gloom of this VERY rundown hotel. A nice hotel with an English speaking owner. Only two star but very comfortable. Close to the historic centre of Orleans. I can't fault the hotel or the staff. It is situated down an old, narrow, street. My wife and I found it a bit unnerving walking back after dark. We never saw, or experienced, any trouble, so I think... More
