service was charming and personal. Hotel was in great location. Decor was charming. Smallish rooms, no elevator, but help with luggage. The kindness and friendliness of staff compensated for any shortcomings. Lovely stay.

What a lovely, friendly hotel. We stopped here for a night and had a fabulous stay. The receptionist recommended a superb restaurant for dinner featuring local organic produce; our room was so sweet, lots of antiques and individual touches (we were given an upgrade when we checked in- a lovely surprise!) Breakfast was huge and delicious. This is the *only*... More

We took this hotel's recommendation from Rick Steves, and we were not disappointed. Yes, like most places located centrally in old European cities, one has to park off site after dropping the bags, but the walk (or trolley ride) back is part of the charm of this hotel's convenient location at one end of a pedestrianized shopping and eating thoroughfare... We used this hotel as a pit stop on our way through to South West France; great location, very accommodating staff, inspiring décor and a very nice breakfast. The roof top garden is great for a view of the Cathedral, although four flights up a winding old staircase is not great for anyone with mobility issues. We enjoyed our stay... More

I choose this hotel for its location and style and we were not disappointed. It is very central with little traffic so the hotel is quiet. The decor is in keeping with old palaces and made it very special. It is nice to stay in hotels with characters. There is no lift and the staircase is small. The staff was... More

Located in the centre ville, getting in and out via car and parking can be a pain. There is no lift, so be prepared to haul your luggage up the tight, winding staircase. Room decor is quaint though smallish, bathroom is modern. Not a bad place to stay with some unique character but not top shelf either

We stayed at the Hotel de l'Abeille for 4 wonderful nights! The hotel is in a great location, close to the train station but on a quiet street. We were greeted by a very friendly and professional staff. They made us fell very welcomed. The atmosphere of the lobby was comfortable and inviting. Our room was clean and very nicely... More

We stayed one night in this historical building and loved it's flair. We have been warmly welcomed and had a room for 4 persons on the 1st floor. The hotel is very quiet even if it is in the middle of the city in a walking distance of all the attractions. The organic product based breakfast is great and you... More

We checked in to our room and started exploring the city. Unfortunately is late in the evening and we were leaving early the next morning so we did not get to see the sites in Orleans. But the hotel is staffed 24 hours a day and they have a bar and lounge nest to the lobby. They also have a... More
