We stayed for 3 nights in early November. Philippe and Christine are charming hosts. We particularly enjoyed Philppe's history of their home and the loving restoration work that they have done. Christine greeted us each morning with a generous french breakfast with fresh croissants, breads, an array of home made jams. Their B&B couldn't have been more convenient for exploring... More

We had very high expectations on La Maison de l'Argentier du Roy since all Tripadvisor reviewers had very good things to say. They are all true! Christine is such a wonderful hostess! We encountered Phillipe only once, when we arrived, but he was also a good host. Christine had a delicious breakfast spread, and conversed with us all throughout the... More

Phillipe and Christine are fabulous hosts and their home is beautiful. The pride they take in it shows in all the details. Phillipe will tell you the history of Loches and of their home. Christine puts out a breakfast spread that can't compare. Fresh bread, croissant, homemade jams, fresh fruit, cheese and more. They'll suggest places for dinner and places... More

We stayed for a week in the small gite attached to the main house and can recommend it highly as a base for exploring Touraine. The gite is well equipped and furnished, and is very spacious for two.
