I took a school group last week and we stayed at this hotel. There were so many problems as soon as we arrived. Beds were dirty (pubic hair in the beds, blood on sheets and a dirty condom in one of the students' rooms). The stairs are very dangerous. I would never reccommend this hotel for school groups. The electrics... More

Easy to find, right next to the Tour St Antoine, this hotel is a delight. Keep away if you favour modern, sterilised rooms because this place is a blast from the past! Friendly staff will take you down creaky corridors to your rooms in a building that must be hundreds of years old. It's right in the centre of town,... More

I recently visited the hotel as part of a school trip and was thoroughly impressed by...well, just about everything. The building itself is very interesting with no two rooms the same and a real sense of antiquity. The staff could not have been any friendlier and were always on hand should we need them. They even let us use their... More

This was our third visit with a group of 10/11 year olds on our annual trip to the Loire Valley and Futuroscope. It remains an excellent choice with good food for the boys and superb hospitality for us teachers. The local goat's cheese is to die for! It is a one group hotel and the rooms are pretty basic but... This hotel is an old building with bags of character. Stone steps like something you'd find in a chateau lead to large spacious rooms. Our one had a double and a 3/4 size bed which were both old but comfortable enough. The room was clean and the shower worked well. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Staff... More

I stayed here for a week with a party of cyclists. We were made most welcome by the owner and her staff. The rooms were basic but clean. The layout of the hotel is quirky but determined by the age of the building. We took dinner in the restaurant every night and the meals were varied and the food well... More
