My wife and I spent two nights at this hotel a few weeks ago and had a wonderful time. The property is owned by a family and you'll see them working proudly around the hotel and property throughout the day and night. For a smaller hotel we were amazed at the quality of the food and attention to detail. Many... More

We stayed here two nights in room 19, which had a lovely balcony/deck. The room was up a few flights of steps but was not an issue to us. The décor is toile on bed and draperies. The bathroom is a nice size with a blow-dryer and the basic toiletries. The two breakfasts and one dinner we had here were... More

We have stayed here a few times now, recommended by Brian of Classic Car Tours, who bases a lot of his stays here. This family run hotel is welcoming, beautiful, peaceful and full of wondrous delights, from the decor and furniture to the food. Nothing is too much trouble from the family and the staff. the Chateau is perfectly located... More

Wow, what a fantastic place. We were "gobsmacked " when we opened the door to our wonderful apartment. It had a large entry with wardrobe and safe, and a huge bathroom with bath, shower, two basins, toilet and bidet. Then we saw the bedroom with a king sized bed in a massive room with a table and two easy chairs.... More

This place is beuatiful and you feel like your living in the history. Everything around is green. Rooms are nivel but gardens are more beautiful. The restaurant is excellent, too. I would love to come back. This is a place i reccomend.

this hotel is effectively high-qaulity but with 90's old-fashioned aspects caractérized by Decoration of the building & the rooms clean but old-fashioned, lack of homogeneity of the hotel; Poor range at the breakfast (lack of fresh juice, fresh fruits, bacon, eggs) Bathroom was not at range level (level for a resort standardized 3*) BUT the restaurant is one the best... Our tour group spent two nights at Chateau de Rochecotte and we can say they had the best mattresses of any place on our trip. That transferred into really restful nights. We would have given them a higher rating if the toilet had been in the bathroom and not around the corner in a separate closet without the benefit of... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights with our tour group. The chateau is beautiful and so are the grounds. Each room is different, ours was on the front and we had a lovely view of the beautiful old tree there. The room and bathroom were both very big. The family who own the chateau were always very... We stayed two nights at this beautiful property, and enjoyed the one dinner there very much. However, the lack of air conditioning (they did supply a fan) and the poor shower facility in the tub caused us to lower the rating of this hotel.

We were so excited to arrive at Chateau de Rochecotte, but were immediately disappointed from the time we entered the front entrance. Although owners tried to update this beautiful property, they fell short of average for the decerning traveler. Beyond the beautiful drapery fabrics and new electric, there was a strong moldy smell throughout the building and black mold on... More
