Great location to explore all the chateaus. Beautiful rooms. The grounds are stunning. Sitting room and dining room are filled with art and antiques. Great place for a family as they have suites. Not too far from the Loire River. It's a bit up on the hill so the views are fantastic. They have a beautiful patio for drinks in... More

This hotel is a chateau that has been made into a hotel. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with lovely fabrics all around. There are extensive grounds for walking and an outdoor pool. The food is good and the staff friendly and helpful.

This is truly a lovely chateau in a beautiful setting of lawns, parkland and magnificent trees, The main lobby, lounges and restaurants are excellent. The rooms however are distinctly tired and somewhat shabby. Perhaps 'shabby-chic' would best describe it. Notwithstanding this however I would certainly recommend this hotel for those looking for a restful and delightful place to stay when... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights during a tour. The chateau is very attractive, and the grounds are beautiful to walk. The only meals we had here were breakfast so we can't rate that portion. The staff was very friendly. The elevator is small and slow so be patient.

Stayed here as part of a classic car tour with a group of friends.I had stayed here before several years ago when I was rather derogatory about this family hotel. This time I felt that they had really shifted up a gear or two and I found the whole stay very good.I had a very nice room with an excellent well... I cannot give this hotel a higher rating, as the room and common areas do look a little tired. Although that does add a distinctive charm to the hotel, I did not appreciate the saggy bed. The setting of the hotel is absolutely lovely, and I enjoyed watching the animals grazing outside our window.

This place is beautiful. We stayed in this Chateau for three days in August and used it as a base to visit the other Chateaus. We found staff to be very friendly, professional and service was impeccable. Magnificent building and comfortable room decorated with eighteenth century furniture. Nice bathroom and separate toilet. We had trouble with water in the shower... More

It was a lovely chateau with windows that opened and a bathroom to die for.... The service was impeccable and friendly The beds were comfortable. The grounds well manicured, even vintage cars in the driveway. More than I expected

My wife and I spent two nights at this hotel a few weeks ago and had a wonderful time. The property is owned by a family and you'll see them working proudly around the hotel and property throughout the day and night. For a smaller hotel we were amazed at the quality of the food and attention to detail. Many... More

We stayed here two nights in room 19, which had a lovely balcony/deck. The room was up a few flights of steps but was not an issue to us. The décor is toile on bed and draperies. The bathroom is a nice size with a blow-dryer and the basic toiletries. The two breakfasts and one dinner we had here were... More
