This elegant hotel is tastefully decorated and furnished, with very comfortable rooms. We stayed in the pavilion, next to the main hotel and had a spacious room overlooking the drive and gardens. Staff were all very courteous, pleasant and helpful. Food in the restaurant was superb and attractively presented. The restaurant itself offered a relaxed dining experience, with its air... More

What a great shame. Beautiful Chateau, poor service. I suspect the reason, if I am being generous, was that we stayed the night of Bastille day. Public holiday - but if they cant get the staff should they accept guests at all. We had drinks in the evening overlooking a beautiful view - we waited for the hors d'oeuvres for... More

The hotel is very easy to find and has a lovely drive way which enhances your expectations. The setting is elegant. We had a charming room, called "cosy", with old or old styled furniture, tall windows and soft carpets. I think the balance was just right when it comes to modern comfort and preserving the old charm. The beds were... More

The chateau was the former private home of the Duchess of Dino and the Prince of Talleyrand and is ideally situated in the heart of the Loire Valley near many other castles and the vineyards of the Bourgueil. The Chateau hotel is of grand proportions in a neoclassical 18th century empire style with magnificent reception rooms and superb gardens. We... More

We wanted to discover the Loire Valley, visit the beautiful castles and admire the breathtaking architecture. I discovered this magical hotel. I truly appreciated the quality of the room and the beauty of the scenery from my window. There is a beautiful bicentenary tree and a lovely French garden. The old chapel and the terrace where we ate our breakfast... More

What a wonderful hotel. Small Chateau with every room decorated differently. Super comfortable. You can relax, stroll the gardens and paths, or take a dip in the pool. A perfect jumping off point to tour the Loire Valley. The service is first rate and the food is to die for.

We had a wonderful stay at the chateau. Even though we visited in the high-season, the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet. We had a family room which was huge and with beautiful furniture. We spent the day by the pool and on several of the terraces. Everything was neat and tidy. Had dinner in the restaurant. Fantastic milieu and food.... More

We were on a tour and stayed for two nights at the beautiful Château de Rochecotte. I was thrilled by the place and the magnificent park. This is a family run business and one can tell the family makes you feel welcome. We had a lovely large room with gorgeous antic French furniture and an impeccable marble bathroom. The windows... If you can stay in a real chateau, its got to be neat - sort of. The building is neat, the rooms are relatively large, and the furnishings decidedly period French. The one elevator is to put it mildly awful. The food is good but expensive. The grounds are well taken care of, but the building needs more maintenance.
