Attractive travel lodge type rooms with balcony. Pool with cover, attractive gardens with chairs & loungers, Very helpful staff, corridors & lift a bit basic, buffet breakfast better than standard. Left car here for a week with no problem whilst we went on bike tour. more

Le Chinon is very similar to an American "Holiday Inn". It was very clean, had large rooms esp. for Europe, the staff was very helpful and all-in-all it was a great value. It would be a great place for families - there was even an indoor pool! From our room and balcony, we had an amazing view of the castle... more
