2 nights here in September. It's a lovely, large old building and our room was on the top floor - we needed the stair climbing with the gorgeous French patisserie! Our room was spacious, with views over the back garden. Very peaceful. Typical French style and the bathroom was in keeping with this - a not too brilliant shower over... More

Stayed for 2 nights. Ideally located to visit Chateau Chenonceau within 5 minutes walk! Also only short car journey to Amboise well worth a visit if you have the chance. We stayed in the out buildings room of a good size,, warm very quiet and clean, bed good size and comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and was... More

We arrived in the town too early to check in - or so we thought. We just wanted to drop our bags off but were shown to our room. It was about 10.30 am. The house is a lovely old building of huge proportions. The rooms don't have numbers, they have names of artists or musicians. We were on the... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July 2012 and loved it. Having read some of the reviews I was very nervous but I really enjoyed it. The room was in the "outbuildings" but it was quiet and a reasonably large room with a very good en suite, TV and comfortable single bed for me and an other... More

We stayed for one night in a family suite so that we could visit Chenonceau chateau. The location is great, the staff friendly and the price very reasonable. Our suite was quite spacious but the hotel was very outdated and shabby. With a decent refurbishment, new furniture and, most importantly, new bed linen, this could be a great hotel.

We stayed there for one night in order to enjoy the light games in the garden of the Chateau de Chanonceaux which are by the way wonderful. The Renaudiere was an interesting stay due to its closeness to the castle but the general impression is that the hotel is about to go bankrupt despite the efforts of the people there.... More

The rating for me is really 1.5 but i've rounded it up to 2 because the gardens would be great for exploring for kids.... On arrival at this small hotel we were impressed. A typically french, large house in large gardens, with mosiac floor in the hallway, it looked full of character and charm. However, we were staying in one... More

We stayed at this hotel on the recommendation of a friend who had stayed there. We were made very welcome. Joel and his wife were very homely and efficient. We feel they went out of their way for us as we had a car accident and Joel gave us a lift to the train station in the next town the... More
