This was an OK hotel. The room was small and did not have an AC. I would not stay here during the summer months. The onsite restaurant was fantastic, but the portion size was really small. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was OK. The WiFi was horrible at best. This place is a short drive to Chateau Chenonceau.... More

The hotel is quaint, clean and conveniently located within walking distance from the Chateaux Chenonceaux. I was surprised that we just turned on a corner and already found the entrance to the grounds. And the chateaux is truly magnificent. The only unfortunate points in my experience are that I find the rooms to be tiny and the restaurant to be... More

Situated not far from the Chateau in the centre of Chenonceaux village. Free public parking nearby (offload luggage in front of the reception snd ask for directions). NO LIFT. Very small room under the eaves with dormer window and thin walls. Would have been disappointing if it were not for the moderate price - €65. Petit déjeuner €5.50 pp.

This is a pretty hotel in the village of Chenonceaux and so on the doorstep of the chateau. The location could not be improved upon if you want to spend time looking at the beautiful chateau and its gardens. However our room was quite small with a tiny bathroom and all rather old fashioned and in need of renovation. The... More

Extremely surprised to read other reviews complaining about the quality of food and service here. We found them both to be excellent. The staff were extremely polite and attentive - nothing seemed to be a problem for them. The menu has a choice of 'a la carte' and several fixed price deals. The salads need a special mention and are... More

Run don't walk in the opposite direction. Rarely have I had such a poor meal accompanied by such a poor service. Do NOT order the steak. Save yourselves hours of chewing. Other highlights? 45min wait for meal. Which to be clear was a steak hache, salad, steak and tuna steak - both on the plancha. No bread. Tuna cooked well... More

Much of this hotel is an older building that is full of character. Our room had a steeply sloping ceiling, which was not ideal, but not a problem for our one night stay. The room was clean and tidy with all the facilities you expect on a French Logis. A big plus was free fast WiFi internet access. The petit... More

We arrived late without reservations so were happy just to find a room. Unfortunately the only room for 4 (2 children included) was in the attic, which was a little warm until a thunderstorm broke the heat. The room was very small, ditto the bathroom.Lighting was bad. However, the food in the restaurant was very good altho the service was... More

This was part of a 7 day cycling package. Lovely comfortable room. Friendly staff & top class French food in the restaurant. Wi-Fi was a bit frustrating though. Breakfast was good. Great location & just a short walk to the Chateau

An overnight stay in this historic property was essentially disappointing. Our welcome was warm, with a choice of English or French conversation, and our double room was in an external stone building. Exposed beams and well chosen toile de jouy fabrics could not conceal that the room was very cramped with limited facilities. Heavy wood panelling made it seem all... More
