We really enjoyed our stay at this very pretty, country style retreat. Beautiful gardens, a peaceful lovely pool, terrific restaurant, and wonderful room. What more could you ask for? The hotel is in several adjoining sections in the tiny town of Chenonceaux, with limestone walls covered in climbing flowers and ivy, with beautiful shade trees all around. Our room had... More

For those of you who have stayed at L'Auberge in Sedona, Arizona, you might get the same feeling in this awesome Inn. The accommodations are excellent and very romantic. Make sure to dine in the restaurant. It is outstanding. Since we were driving through the Loire Valley in a rental car, we contacted the manager early to request a parking... More

We stayed here for one night on our trip back through France. There are mixed views of this hotel, I thought it was over priced for the accommodation. The bathroom was designed for maximum style and minimal functionality, there was a separate WC two sinks, though you could not stand up in the shower over the bath. The bedroom was... More

We paid a deposit to stay at this hotel, deducted from the €134 per night rate. The room was comfortable and attractive with lots of character and the bathroom nice although, as is often the case in France, the loo was separate at the far end of the bedroom. There was also a pretty pot plant in the entrance hall... More

Wanted to stay one night, but stayed two. The place is charming. All rooms are different, but you feel home at once. The staff was overfriendly. No problem to change the room because we wanted to sleep with open window. The perfect swinning pool was situated on the other site of the street, and that is the only negative note... More

Wonderful stay in the hotel with a fantastic meal in their restaurant . For a brief visit to the Loire you couldn't beat the auberge. Steps from chenonceaux chateau , this delightful hotel was the perfect stop over for us. Highly recommend a visit

I stayed here with my husband for two nights and the standard was excellent. The staff were very professional, the room was immaculate, very well air conditioned and comfortable. The whole place had a luxurious feel to it with modern and stylish interior. The outdoor eating area was also beautiful too. Plus, the location (right next door to the Chateau... More

We spent one night at this hotel and were delighted that we did so: it was a most pleasant way of marking a birthday. We were impressed with the professionalism and warm welcome of the staff. The restaurant was superb, both in respect of the quality of the food and the discreet and impeccable service, the garden and surroundings lovely... More

The most beautiful little auberge in The Loire valley, within a stone's throw of the Château Chenonceau. Flowers galore, ivy growing all over the buildings, the most cozy and quaint one-bedroom suite up a small stairway, a modern bathroom, superb service and a fabulous dinner at the in-house restaurant. That just about describes the Auberge ... Oh no, I forgot... More

Excellent small hotel (bed and breakfast style). It is small, charming and with excellent customer service. The restaurant was superb with flawless service and excellent food. If you are looking for gourmet regional cuisine, this is the best. It is located walking distance to the chateau and the train station.
