Stayed here whilst visiting the Chateau, which is a bit overrated. We had a good spacious room in the annex which has a lovely courtyard ideal for an early evening drink. The lady manager is charming and nothing is to much trouble. Dinner was excellent as it should be having a Michelin star. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet, they... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. The hotel felt very homely and welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. We ate in the restaurant twice. The restaurant was elegant and comfortable. The food was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. The staff were all friendly. We felt very comfortable and relaxed staying here. It's a perfect location for... More

We keep coming back to Le Bon Laboureur year after year. Any excuse we can find really... We stay with the kids and usually get the same room above the garage in the courtyard. It is a perfect room for us, spacious but cosy. We do not get disturbed by a soul as it has no direct neighbouring room, and... More

I spent two nights here last week at the end of my busy European trip. It was a perfectly relaxing choice. My objective was the Chateau Chenonceau and the Auberge du Bon Labourer was a fitting accompaniment to that fabulous chateau which is second only to Versailles for visitors. It was an easy stroll between the two and I could... More

We stayed here for two nights as we travelled through France. We were very impressed with the location and the hotel. We were in a beautiful room on the ground floor in a court yard. We couldn't find a fault with our stay and if we return I would love to have the same room. You must also visit the... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this very pretty, country style retreat. Beautiful gardens, a peaceful lovely pool, terrific restaurant, and wonderful room. What more could you ask for? The hotel is in several adjoining sections in the tiny town of Chenonceaux, with limestone walls covered in climbing flowers and ivy, with beautiful shade trees all around. Our room had... More

For those of you who have stayed at L'Auberge in Sedona, Arizona, you might get the same feeling in this awesome Inn. The accommodations are excellent and very romantic. Make sure to dine in the restaurant. It is outstanding. Since we were driving through the Loire Valley in a rental car, we contacted the manager early to request a parking... More

We stayed here for one night on our trip back through France. There are mixed views of this hotel, I thought it was over priced for the accommodation. The bathroom was designed for maximum style and minimal functionality, there was a separate WC two sinks, though you could not stand up in the shower over the bath. The bedroom was... More

We paid a deposit to stay at this hotel, deducted from the €134 per night rate. The room was comfortable and attractive with lots of character and the bathroom nice although, as is often the case in France, the loo was separate at the far end of the bedroom. There was also a pretty pot plant in the entrance hall... More
