This is a very quaint and beautiful hotel, fitting right into the lovely countryside ambience. I stayed in the Charm room for 2 nights in December 2015. It was a very lovely room with nice decor and a big living area with comfortable sofa and coffee table. The room was clean, cosy and makes you feel right at home. Best... More

We travelled around France this summer with our two children and had booked this Auberge as our venue in the Loire valley. This hotel was one of the most beautiful places we have stayed with our two children. Situated in the village of Chenonceaux a short walk for the beautiful Chateau, this is a very traditional but stylish venue with... More

This is a great place to stay. Room was spacious -- especially for Europe, rate was reasonable, and the hotel restaurant was amazing! My only issue was that we arrived by train and while its a fairly short walk to the hotel, when you have luggage, or worse are on crutches as I was, its a bit much to not... More

This is a little gem of a hotel with an exceptional restaurant too. Situated in a series of village houses, cottages and buildings around courtyards in the centre of the village and a short stroll from the fairytale Chateau of Chenonceaux one of the prettiest in the region. Helpful and freindly staff throughout. The welcome is formal, but warm and... More

This hotel has to be by far one of the most peaceful, beautiful and welcoming I have stayed in. The hotel is so perfectly situated with idyllic surroundings and the rooms so beautifully decorated. A wonderful location for a culture filled, tranquil getaway! It never fails to bring a smile to my face.

If you are a discerning traveller, this is the place for you. The location is idillic, within walking distance from the chateu and surrounded by glorious woodland where you can walk, jog or cycle for hours without coming across anyone, but a few birds of pray and some deer peeping through the centenary trees. The hotel and the restaurant are both... More

This is a very small town. It was a good stop over on our way to Boardeaux. The hotel is like a hidden gem, beautiful room, but had to climb up 2 lots of stairs for us, we were very lucky to rearrange our luggage. The room had everything you need,. However, the bed was a little bit hard for... More

We stayed here one night on our way to the Pyrenees. We had been here before and loved it, for the proximity of the famous chateau and the quality of the Bon Laboureur. It was if anything better than before: the room was gorgeous, the size almost of a junior suite, and dinner was delicious, a real treat. The food... More

This is a lovely place with very comfortable rooms, good free wifi and a cosy lobby to read in and have a glass of wine. We stayed in a little building next to the hotel which was very quiet, room had a great bathroom, and coffee making facilities. Bathroom is modern looking. Room was a little warm, but you can... The pictures for this hotel really don't do it justice for the uniqueness of the hotel with a very authentic ambiance. We were warmly received and escorted to our room with an introduction to the amenities. No long after we were enjoying a nice walk around the town including some very attractive vineyards rising up just behind the hotel. An... More
