We loved this hotel - the location. rooms, beds and the welcome air-conditioning were all much appreciated. But the hotel restaurant was truly outstanding and we enjoyed one of our best meals ever sitting outside in the delightful courtyard.

The hotel is brilliant. We make a point of booking at the Bon Laboureur on our trips through France. The beds are really comfortable. The rooms full of character and each one is different. The food is consistently great. The swimming pool is a summer asset. The hotel is about 15 mins off the motorway between Tours and Vierzon. It... More

This was an outstanding experience. The facility is charming, the staff seems to delight in providing whatever assistance you need and the restaurant is sensational. It will be difficult to eat certain foods ever again having experienced the culinary mastery of la Bon Laboureur. My wife and I have eaten at many of the great restaurants in New York and... More

Charming hotel in a very quiet little village. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff is professional and accommodating. The pool is actually big enough to swim in. We LOVED dinner every night in their beautiful little courtyard. Every dish was very good, but the whole experience of service, atmosphere, relaxation and wonderful food made it more than just... Honestly, I can't imagine staying in a nicer hotel for the money. Not only was the room perfect (we stayed in 447), but the staff was totally outstanding, the grounds were wonderful, with a working fruit and vegetable garden, the pool was great, and it's a block away from Chateau de Chenonceaux, which even allows you to walk the grounds... Most basic room chosen but very pleasant. The twin beds were firm and, for us, the best beds we could have. Slept like a log. Bath was quite short and shower just a hose from bath taps and no wall mount so a bit of contorting for tall people but not a big issue, and contributed to the overall character... More

We stayed at the Auberge du Bon Laboureur for 2 nights as a family of four. We had their 'family room,' which is a two-room unit above the garage. In one room, there was a comfortable King bed and in the other, a queen-sized pull out couch. In French style, there was a toilet in one small room and a... More

An attractive and professionally run hotel, with a dedicated manager, and charming and helpful staff. The restaurant food was outstanding, served on an exquisite outdoor terrace. I shall be returning again.

We came here for part of our honeymoon, and it was a great experience. The pool was lovely; we went twice and were the only ones there. The location is right by the château and the train station, so the "commute" was really easy. The room was ok (comfortable bed, clean), but the friendliness of the staff and the other... More
