Nice hotel where AC is workign pretty well. We stayed in the room with a separate WC which is located in what seems to be the old "pigeonnier". Really felt like going to the WC we were Game of Throne heroes... more Seriously this is very close to the castle so you can make it there before the tourist buses... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights, primarily to visit the Château and also to visit Amboise. The room was simple and comfortable. It was very quiet. Unfortunately, the TV did not have any English-language channels. The Wi-Fi service was a little bit unreliable. The hotel itself has a lot of character and charm. The restaurant is wonderful.... This hotel is quite quirky as it is an old building, which has probably been added to over time. There are lots of stairs and steps, and twists and turns. The parking is also a bit unusual in that you have to turn into it, right on a corner of the road and drive through a covered area (like a... More

Do not attempt to go there with your family. Unfortunately they don't think they have place for kids. We hadn't booked a table but when showing up, of corse quite reasonable that nothing was available right then, it was pretty clear that nothing would become available later either because we where not only adults. As evidenced when later seeing that... More

A perfect place to stay when visiting Chenonceau. The room was delightful, complete with a terrace with table and chairs. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was just charming. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, especially as we carelessly left some clothing there when we checked out, and they took the time and trouble to post it... More

Perhaps I am a bit finicky about the places where I like to stay but I was a bit disappointed with this hotel. First of all, the room (classic, ie really basic) we got first was so dusty that with me being slightly asthmatic, we could not stay there. Fortunately, we got another room, one without a dated and dusty... More

The hotel is in a very old building so do not expect a modern layout but that is what gives it character. The facilities are clean and the restaurant is excellent. The town it is located in is small so it is a quiet off the beaten path location. but it is central as far as visiting the many chateaus... More

I stayed here 2 nights with my mum and we had a lovely time. The night we arrived their restaurant was closed but they offered to book us a table at another restaurant. The meals we did have at La Roseraie were fantastic. Wifi wasn't very good but that is the only fault in my opinion. Location was really good... More

We stayed here for one night only, but I cannot concur with other reviewers generous opinions I am afraid. The rooms are just about satisfactory (ours was room 12) for a 3* hotel but, in my opinion are overpriced because of the location, even in the low season (more later). Room was clean but very dated. There are nice touches... More

Nice 3 star, located very near chateau, easy walk. Managers very pleasant recent refugees from paris. Rooms large. Only negative in my eyes were the meal costs, but they could be very good. We found the boulangerie around the corner and had breakfast there 3 mornings, fresh croissants quiche, baguette sandwiches and the chefs surprise, a very nice croissant bread... More
