We were a little worried about mixed reviews this hotel has had on Tripadvisor. Our stay was very pleasant. This is an old style coaching type inn. Lots of creaky floor boards but with plenty of character. Our room was a good size and fairly comfortable. Only complaint being that the mattress was a little soft. We had dinner outside... More

We had a Classic Room with a double bed located on the 2nd floor (3rd U.S.), at one end of the hotel. Price was attractive for a good reason. Room was small, with almost no place to hang clothes, and just enough space to get around the bed. The smallest bathroom of our trip of course had the smallest shower,... More

We stayed here in May 2015 as a stop on a 3-week road trip through France. We were here because it was well-reviewed and close to the Chateaux. EXACTLY as we arrived, my cell phone rang, and it was the proprietress asking if we would want to eat dinner in the hotel restaurant. I replied that we didn't know for... More

We stayed here for one night as we were travelling the Loire Valley looking at chateaus. The hotel was easy to find and well marked. Reception was easy. We had a room on the top floor over looking the terrace. There was no lift so we had to lug our luggage up the many stairways but we are quite fit... More

We stayed at Hotel la Roseraie for three nights in june 2015. After A busy city like Paris it was perfect to stay here. The garden is beautiful with all the flowers, especially the hortensias. And the pool was perfect in the heat. The rooms were ok, nice and clean. We had a delicious three course meal at the restaurant... More

Nice hotel where AC is workign pretty well. We stayed in the room with a separate WC which is located in what seems to be the old "pigeonnier". Really felt like going to the WC we were Game of Throne heroes... more Seriously this is very close to the castle so you can make it there before the tourist buses... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights, primarily to visit the Château and also to visit Amboise. The room was simple and comfortable. It was very quiet. Unfortunately, the TV did not have any English-language channels. The Wi-Fi service was a little bit unreliable. The hotel itself has a lot of character and charm. The restaurant is wonderful.... This hotel is quite quirky as it is an old building, which has probably been added to over time. There are lots of stairs and steps, and twists and turns. The parking is also a bit unusual in that you have to turn into it, right on a corner of the road and drive through a covered area (like a... More

Do not attempt to go there with your family. Unfortunately they don't think they have place for kids. We hadn't booked a table but when showing up, of corse quite reasonable that nothing was available right then, it was pretty clear that nothing would become available later either because we where not only adults. As evidenced when later seeing that... More
