We were very satisfied with our stay in hotel La Roseraie during our trip to Chenonceaux. Reception lady was very helpful and showed us everything we needed to know. There is a private parking available behind the hotel. Rooms are comfortable with lovely decorations. The building almost looks like a small chateau with a nice rose garden. I also need... More

One of the closest hotels to the entrance of the great Chateau Chenonceau. The tourism office is right on the way as well where you can buy your tickets and avoid the lines at the Chateau. It was clean and the rooms and bathroom was spacious. They have a restaurant in the hotel for breakfast and dinner. We didn't do... More

Hotel looked lovely from outside. Flower garden and seating areas attractive. Little problems like shower head broken, stopper in sink got stuck, dripping taps and safe needed to be reset. Asked for quiet room but was given a consolation "upgrade" to a bigger room overlooking patio and above dining room. Moved on day two. Smaller room with French wallpapering....quite quaint.... More

My family visited this place for one night. It is easy to be nice when a place is very expensive, as this is. But not having internet available in all rooms in inexcusable. And most of the staff during the evening were very unfriendly - why? I was paying them a lot of money! And I am quite sure they... More

What a delightful hotel. Full of surprises our rooms were beautiful with quirky additions such as a piano on the room and taps which had come from the Orient Express. We ate in the restaurant which was lovely although fairly pricey. The situation of the hotel means that it is only a short walk to the Chateau which we enjoyed... More

The rooms were large and comfortable and had everything we needed and had a bit of rustic charm thrown in for good measure. The staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. Dinner was amazing quality and the wine selection was good. The only downside is the cost of eating and drinking here as it is a bit steep but... More

Stayed here for one night with my daughter. Thought we might have dinner till we saw the prices and the amount of discarded fat cut off other diners' meals. The room was decorated with a unique pinky-red matching wallpaper-bed linen combo that looked dreadful (but that's just personal taste, isn't it?). We were in an upstairs 'courtyard' of four rooms... We stayed a week and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Sabine, Thierry and their staff are all warm and friendly and helped to make our stay feel special. The garden was very pretty and ideal for relaxing after visiting the local towns and Chateaux. The chateau at Chenonceau sited across the river is charming especially with the floodlights... More

Probably the best hotel in Chenonceaux, rooms are nice although without WiFi scarcely usable in the reception. The restaurant can be much improved as far as the menus and mainly the service is concerned. Very little flexibility and a handling of customers as if the were unwelcomed guests.

I reserved our stay here 6 months before the trip and had forgot why I chose it. Greatly surprised by the charming comfort of the accommodation, the quiet garden, the excellent patio dinner, the roomy bedroom and bathroom. Best of all it was a brief stroll to the Chateau de Chenonceau where we had a romantic night promenade complete with... More
