The hotel is located right by the Cathedral and has gated parking. The room was pretty basic but was very comfortable, with enough space for a medium sized dog. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was alright but was cheaper than buying in the town. We would definitely stay again. Thanks.

Part of the cathedral buildings and therefore in the old town at the top of the hill, it might be tricky to find without a satnav. Winding narrow one way cobbled roads and bridges controlled by a barrier (speak the name of the hotel into the speaker by the barrier and it will be opened for you). The hotellerie comprises... More

This former monastery has relatively affordable simple clean rooms. We had a good size triple room with a view out the window over the old town and with a clever shower/bath pod with a door on it installed in the corner of the room. What is really stellar about this hotel is the location just around the corner from the... More

We had a very good size triple room with a lovely view of the garden. The bathroom and shower were tiny, however. It is very hard to find this place and our GPS did not get us there. We ended up parking near the river and then I walked up and up until I found it. I took Tetre Saint... More

We stopped here on our way down south, and were so pleased to visit the beautiful old town and the stunning cathedral. The hosttellerie is a converted monastery, and there is something of the good-hearted vibe remaining in the place. Our triple bed room was fairly basic but more than adequate, and the location, the historic building and the decent... More

This hostel can be difficult to access as it's in a restricted part of the old town. (Read the information on the booking confirmation carefully). The access is up a steep hill via a very narrow road. Car parking is available, at no charge, but there will not always be enough places for all who stay there. The hostel is... More

This is a basic hotel that's so close to the cathedral you might think it warrants a higher price. It was immaculately clean. You pay for what you get, which is minimal. It's not one of chain hotels; amenities limited but I'd stop there again tomorrow if I could.

A monastery converted into a hotel , it is adjacent to the Notre Dame cathedral and not very far from the town square. The room is fairly large but the shower was a wee bit tiny but ok for a two nights stay. Make sure you do not reach between 12noon and 2 pm . its lunch time and nobody... More

I stayed here for one night just to spend some time at the Cathedral and see the town. I had accidentally given them the wrong date; they were very accommodating and gave me a room anyway - thank you! The room was very small yet comfortable. Same goes for the bathroom. There was some construction work going on in the... More

Thank you for coming and stay at the Hotellerie Saint Yves. As a matter of fact when you were staying with us we were doing some renovation and restaure the floor inside the rooms and we also changed the beds (matrasses). So we do hope that if you come to Chartres and stay with us next time you will enjoy... More

Great view from our room. Has an elevator. TV has 3 channels. 1/2 block from the cathedral. Bed very firm and a bit lumpy. Room very, very clean. Bathroom tiny like a cruise ship size with a poor fitting shower curtain. Breakfast- good - cold ham and sausage, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, apple sauce, French bread, cereal, coffee, and fresh...
