We stayed in Room 217. Location is the best asset of this hotel - it is very centrally located - close to all the main sights. The room was clean - a little small - we had a queen bed and a twin bed. Room was not big enough to put out suitcases so we put them on the twin.... more

The hotel is well situated in town with easy access to the Cathedral. There was secure parking for the car at a reasonable fee. The room was very neat with a partial cathedral view. The breakfast was reasonably priced and good. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It was a very pleasant stay. more

Pleasant hotel, my only concern at the very beginning was that it wasn't really in front the cathedral. The only problem was that the aircon needed to be controlled from the frontdesk, quite... more

Arrived for a one night stay having booked on-line, room we were allocated had the most foul smell in the bathroom, in fairness we were then given a different room, we paid for "garden" view rooms, as we also had friends with us, no real garden just a few shrubs and a car park. Our booking confirmation stated the room... more

We had a great view of the cathedral from our room (#315), and everything in the room seemed to be brand new. Also the public areas of the hotel appeared to have been just renewed (and I notice that it has a new frontage compared to the photo on this site). The breakfast was good (eg you could boil your... more

The lobby of this hotel is very charming. The Tudor beams and roaring fire in the reception area were so welcoming on the cold Feb. night. The reception staff were very nice. I made my reservation from the U.S. without difficulty and everything was ready when I arrived. Room was very nice and clean. I had a view of the... more

Stayed here during a stopover whilst taking the opportunity to see Chartres Cathedral and "Old Town". Very central position with reasonable rates for city centre. Nothing was too much trouble for the helpful, friendly staff. Secure parking, spotlessly clean, quiet room, excellent breakfast. Overall the hotel has a pleasant ambiance. more
