This hotel is a very convenient stopover when traveling towards Paris (which I was), situated very close to the motorway. Staff were very friendly and efficient, and the room was bright and clean. The attached restaurant served good reasonably-priced food, but had little atmosphere. If you want to have a choice of restaurants, it's a 10-minute drive into Chartres. I... More

Very easy to find beside the motorway. Rural and somewhat isolated even though located in an industrial estate typical of French budget hotel locations. Typical Campanile layout in motel style .Parking outside rooms. Very quiet - excellent for a good night's sleep in well appointed rooms. Ideal if travelling with dogs. Ample walking areas beside the hotel. This is excellent... More

We have stayed here several times now; it is a little way out of the centre but a good cycle ride. The restaurant is always very good; as it is at all the Campaniles that we have stayed in over the years of visiting France. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are not particularly cheap when you consider... More

Dear Guests, Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion, and thank you for your compliments on your hotel. In fact, the quilts on the beds are a standard in our chain, but if you prefer, for a next stay, call us before your check-in for that put blankets instead the quilts. Waiting to see you again, Best... More

The outside appearance makes you think it is not very nice, but the rooms are actually in pretty good shape if you can get by the spider webs on the stairs and railings outside. Good, very basic hotel at a very reasonable price for passing through. Too tiny for a family of 3 to stay for long (the cot is... More

Stopped for one night on our way back from the Dordoigne. We are a family of 5 and trying to find hotels / motels with interconnecting rooms is a nightmare! Unfortunately rooms at this Campanile are double or twin only, but the hotel kindly put a 'camp bed' in with us so all 5 could sleep together. The rooms were... More

The hotel was supposedly newly renovated. The shower room had beetles running round the floor and the drains smelt! The location was ideal for our purposes, but, quite frankly this hotel was far too expensive for the standard of room we received. The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful, but we did not get good value for money.

Despite the external appearance - flat roof 3 storey block the rooms were modern spacious and clean. Shower and bath. Tea making facilities. Simple but good meal in the restaurant. Away from busy main roads and relatively easy to find. Parking immediately outside the block.

Close to high way; easy to find. Clean rooms with sufficient equipment and free WiFi. Friendly staff. Coffee / tea and biscuit as standard. Due to distance to highway slightly but not too disturbing..

As per previous reviews it is clean. My daughter was amazed by the shower (and demanded the same at home!!). Clever things like the middle of the mirror doesn't steam up when you have a shower. Spacious room and nice bedding. Kettle a nice addition but bring your own tea and milk. The breakfast at 9 euros per person is... More
