This is a charming B&B very close to the centre of Chartres (about 10 minute walk). We received a warm welcome from our hosts who were helpful in advising places to eat and also told us about the light show at night in the town centre. Breakfast was plentiful (continental style) in a splendid light and spacious dining room. Our... More

After a 24 hour trip from Australia, an hour in lockdown at the airport (abandoned suitcase) followed by a dreadful drive in holiday traffic and pouring rain which took twice as long as it should have, we were given a very warm welcome by our hosts, who even provided us with a (very welcome) bottle of wine and some nibbles.... This was a one night stay for us in Chartres on route to the Loire Valley. A good location, not far from the cathedral ( light show at night is amazing). The house is easy to find. Private parking on site and a wonderful garden with relics from a bygone age dotted about. We had a ground floor room overlooking... More

This is one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. It is very quiet even though it is within walking distance of the city centre. Our room had its own entrance and was very large, the bed was very comfortable. We also had tea, coffee and a mini bar. Plenty of private parking in the garden. There were lots... More

We arrived in the dark, 2 hours late after problems with our car. Managed to ring the wrong bell outside, but not to worry - the neighbour is a relative of our hostess. We were so tired and pleased just to arrive, that we didn't really take in the details of our room, the house and garden until next morning.... More

This is one of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed in. A characterful house set in a large garden full of birds, it is only a short walk into the mediaeval part of Chartres and to the cathedral. The rooms have their own entrances - and to our delight had cooking facilites. The hostess lent us a kettle and gave... More

This place is conveniently placed within easy walking distance of the town centre and Cathedral of Chartres. There are two rooms, one upstairs, both with independent entrances. They are well furnished with a modern decor. The family are very welcoming. A generous breakfast is served in a most beautiful room overlooking an interesting garden. We have stayed here three times... More

We stayed two nights, booking both rooms which are both very comfortable. The upstairs room has some cooking facilities enabling the preparation of a simple meal. Francoise is a delight and could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is plentiful and served in a beautiful room - a real treat. Access to the ground floor room, and... More

We stayed one night in early September 2014. The room was nice room with a spacious bathroom (shower). Breakfast was very good and the hosts were very welcoming. As others have said this is very convenient for visiting Chartres and the Cathedral as it is within easy walking distance. Lovely garden with an aviary, chickens and ducks. Overall a pleasant... I can agree with all recent reviews! Lovely spot in Central Chartres but totally peaceful. Just a short walk to the historical centre, cathedral, shops and restaurants. Room was very comfortable and clean and breakfast was lovely.
