We stayed there just one night. The hotel is under renovation so part of it was closed. We had room in 3rd floor with no elevator - quite a problem. Other than that it was very nice hotel in gppd location with several restaurants around it, Nice breakfast. Lovely, helpful staff.

We had our credit cards stolen while in Madrid and had borrowed just enough money to get home (In a large Mercedes Sprinter--Its a long story!) We booked into the hotel and explained that we were paying with cash not cards and why we were doing this. We sat outside having a beer and decided a plate of 'Frites' would... More

Unfortunately we stayed in this hotel during our brief stay in Chartre. It is near a McDonald, KFG and some other squalid american fast food places! It's about 30 minutes from the Cathedral, no good restaurants and a scary neighborhood made our stay unpleasant. The room are old, shabby and not really clean. Service was not existent. The most frustrating... More

Stayed at this hotel on five occasions en route to southern Spain, never been disappointed. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with free wi fi available. The hotel's restaurant is excellent, good food and wine at a reasonable price. The buffet breakfast is comprehensive and good value for money. The location of the hotel is ideal for all major routes.... More

We stayed at this hotel on the way back from the channel port to our home in France. The hotel is welcoming with a tiny bar by reception and a substantial restaurant close by. we booked for evening meal and breakfast and we were well satisfied with the experience. The room is neat clean and comfortable without the frills of... More

My wife, son and I stopped at the Comfort Hotel, Chartres for one night on our way home to London. Normally, we would have driven straight through to the port but my wife was suffering from pleuricy a serious chest condition which had developed during our stay in France. She could not take a turn at the wheel as she... More

I've never written a hotel review before but needed to share our awful experience to warn other travellers. My husband and son and I stayed here on the 29th December 2012 for a night's stopover between the south of france and London, where we live. We had an early night as we were travelling, and were woken up at 11pm... More

Arrived on date requested, front desk had a problem finding our reservation. On the other hand we had trouble finding the hotel. There are many signs until the last roundabout and then nothing. They could put a sign out by the first left after the roundabout to make it easier to find. On checkout were given the weekend rate on... More

I would recommend staying somewhere else! It was impossible to find. There were hairs on the pillows (that were not ours). If you have to stay there ask for a room with an even number. The odd numbered rooms face the backside where there are working train tracks about five feet away from your window as well as the loading... More

Hi visitor, situated south-east of Chartres, ideal for leisurely walk to the city centre, staff made us aware of all oportunities , eating in house was good, a few alternatives close by.
