Modern hotel, well located, the outside terrasse is a bonus on a warm day. Our room on the 3rd floor was well appointed,quiet and confortable if a little sterile, but this is a 2 star chain hotel so we couldn't expect more. more

My Sister and I stayed at the Ibis Chartres. It is within walking distance of the Cathedral, and nearby is a laundromat. What more can two travelers want? What can I say? It's clean, tidy, comfortable and well located for site seeing on foot, but it's sterile and soulless. We were here for three nights of a seventeen night holiday. There's a lack of hanging space and little drawer space. It is what it is, a fairly new, modern hotel. It does what it says on the tin.... more
